Slide mounted safety is my preference.  That is why I tend toward Beretta 92/Storm, Ruger P, PPK, and S&Ws.  Have or will own one or more of each.  Not necessarily in that order.

I know, it's a handgun thread, but how about a pic of a Beretta long gun? Beretta 1201 FP 12g.

Here's mine. It's the olive green one (kind of hard to tell by the pics). I recently put new grips on it that are not shown in the pics.

Not to those of us that love it and think the 1911 sucks.

I know they can be a reliable and good shooting gun, but I never found a 1911 that felt good to me and very much prefer a slide mounted safety. I'll keep my Beretta's thanks. But to each his own.

hey rifle-cop624, your Beretta looks like my first handgun!  I sold it to a guy from around PA who was in the USMC.  Wasn't you was it?

Those wood grips bring back memories of that beautiful Beretta...

My latest creation...  Milled off the front sight, and as soon as my mount arrives the rear will be wearing a Docter Optic red dot.

I'm not closed-minded .  The Beretta is a fine service pistol and it was sooooo much fun to shoot.  Why limit yourself to just one .
