Another Trooper of the same vintage, with his little brother...

Wish I'd figured out this Woodsman had been re-finished before paying so much for it.  Oh well...

Where is a good source for those grips? I like them.

I should clarify, I'm talking about the Colt gold medallion ones.

I've just been lucky with them.  Most of my 1911's came with them.  You might talk to your friendly local gunsmith, as he may have a couple of pairs in his big box of parts.

I'll gladly trade you a nearly new set of Pachmayrs for that old worn out Tyler T grip

I think you can find the ejector rod tip at Sarco or Brownells.  I've got a friend who smacked a small hole in his right hand when he lost that part.  OUCH!!!

My not so stock M1991A1! This is shares packing time with my Colt Defender. My department allows us to carry what we qualify with off duty. They supply the ammo as well! Not too shabby for department that issues the Glock 22 for our duty gun (several of us would like to carry 1911's on duty). They realize we all have different tastes.

1922 1929 Colt Police Positive .38 Special.  Bought it earlier this year for a little over $400.  It's been used pretty thoroughly by its previous owner.  Front sight is a bit chewed up, but I like it.  Makes it look well loved, and it is.
