I've been saving for several years for this (you know how it goes, something else always comes up like car repairs or medical bills or something).  I almost got a USFA several times but except for the Rodeo they cost about the same so I didn't see the point. I might someday get a Rodeo to shoot the hell out of, but that's a different thread.

So, without further adieu and including the not very good pictures, my new P1850 (5.5" .45) -

No toes, but you get to see my Norwegian Elkhound bedspread, you lucky dogs people

Here are some updated pics.

1974 Colt Trooper Mk III

1970 Colt Agent.  It apparently belonged to a police chief here in the area and has been a carry gun for all of its life.  It's got significant holster wear and scoring around the barrel, but rifling and cylinder are nothing short of fantastic.  It's fast become a favorite and will likely get carried again.  It was sold with the set of Pachmayrs that are on it.

I actually posted pics of this one earlier in this thread, but I think it would be nice to see it again.  1929 Colt Police Positive .38spc.  Grips are made by Herrett, and came with the gun when it was sold.  This classic has the smoothest trigger of any gun I have ever shot.

Updated Colt family photo.

I now own more Colt revolvers than any other product from a single manufacturer.  I am not done yet, either.

If I may ask are those the black desert sand G10's in Alien.  I can't find the right color for my Colt Defender.  Stainless seems to be tough on finding the right kinda grips.  This looks great.  I thought about the Tiger stripe, but I keep changing my mind.  Definently want the tumb notch cut in my grips!  That is one hell of a 1911 sir

Very nice!  I've been looking for a 3" barrel for my Cobra, but haven't been having any luck.

I'd keep at it if you can stand the search.  It makes for a really handy little revolver, and I can't imagine why they weren't more popular.
