Glad Springfield is catching up.  I swapped some baseplates around about 6 months ago and have been using 17 round mags for my Pro since.  Feeds great and no issues using the stock 15 round springs.

I did the same thing after seeing somebody on Youtube do it. Looks like Springfield just added the #16 and #17 witness holes and that was it.

I never once thought I'd be interested in a hellcat pro, then today I decided to look into it and I'm thinking about getting one. I saw that they have 15 round magazines so I came here to see what people thought of the pro. Imagine my surprise when I found the thread I started a few weeks ago talking about the new magazines LOL.

I guess I saw something new that I passed on to y'all about the sale but I didn't retain the information since I didn't own one

I picked up two 13 round mags for the standard Hellcat.  Swapped those base plates onto my 15 round mags for the pro and replaced them with the flat baseplate, making them into 11 round mags for the standard and 17 rounds for the pro.  Then I gave those 11's to a friend with a standard Hellcat.

I know that they will stick out but these 17 rnd mag will fit in a standard Hellcat?

They should.  I've run 15 round pro mags in the standard hellcat with no grip extentions.  Worked just fine.

I think I read that someone stacked two magazine sleeves and it fills the gap well.  I'll see if I can find that in the post here.
