Long overdue and what seemed like forever: the single stack 9. Now that we have it....whats next?
Factory .22LR Model - Threaded (in all frame sizes of course ) Please GLOCK |

Why would a glock carbine be better than a good AR from a reputable company (in 5.56 or 9mm)? I'm just not a fan of the 9mm carbine in principle I guess.
I only see them as being good for SBR'ing and/or running a suppressor on. I guess most are pretty expensive (though the SIG and CZ Scorpion aren't that bad compared to HK). The affordable Beretta and Kel-tec's have their fans I suppose, so there is a market. And we have that new company importing models that look reall good (can't remember the name). I would love to see a Magpul FMG9 or a Glock bullpup in .300blk that had a nice trigger and was well designed (I think Bullpups are the future, so combining them with .300blk seems like a good move). BUT Glock is one of the slowest companies to do anything, so I'm not really hoping for much--they'll come out with small guns in other calibers, start putting MOS cuts on compacts and full-sizes, etc. Perhaps the GAP 45 taught them that innovation is too big a risk. |

A Glock in 5.7.
I think that would be badass. Or maybe a true pocket Glock. Something the size of a P3at or LCP. |

Threaded barrel Gen4's
Gen4 30S Gen4 21S (I know, G41, but I don't need the extra barrel length) US models w/o finger grooves 22LR in any 9/40 size |
|
What should be next is people spelling out "Glock" in Glock 43 thread titles so the majority of ARFCOM (as polled last night) will stop clicking on the thread thinking it's about a G43 (Gewehr 43) only to be disappointed by a gun that is far bigger and far more expensive than it should be, inevitably turning it into a SHEILD thread...

I would bet a single stack 40. I'd like to see a 22 with a factory threaded barrel.

I'm hoping that gen 4 17Ls and 24s are in the works. I would still like a factory 22LR, too. I'm probably the only person on earth, but I'd also like a 10mm about the size of a G36.

nothing they are going to ride this perfection out for the next 10 years, fail to innovate and only make something as a response to other manufacturers 3 years late.

Factory 22lr in both 19 size and 42 size
Mmmmmm I'd be all about a G42 size 22lr |

There is only 3 new firearms that Glock could come out with that I would be interested in. In order of interest...
G19 sized SS 9mm Factory .22LR (Either standard frame or something in between the Standard and Compact frame) 9mm Carbine that uses G17 mags. Not holding my breath for any of them but think the .22 might be the mostly likely out of that group? |
|
I told the guy at the Glock booth during the NRA they need to get their act together and release the 19s.
He was all |

G41 slide on an eight shot longer G36 frame for a full size single stack 45. Call it the G45.

I'd like to see a 10mm Glock in a G19 sized frame
The G20 is a good full-sized pistol, and large The G29 is a sub-compact size (G26) pistol, and really a bit on the small size for this caliber (10mm) Having something in between would be a really nice option, I think. |

View Quote Yesssssssss.... Single stack (8-9rnd mags) G19 sized 10mm would be a wet dream. G20 GEN 4 is my daily work open carry. Perfect full sized pistol. I have a G29 also but its too bulky. This one is a GEN 3... maybe I should try the GEN 4 version. |

Gen 5 Glocks - keep the rails and the backstraps, but lose the finger grooves (which a lot of people just end up grinding off, anyways)

I finally got a Gen2 about a month ago and I really like the flat frontstrap. |

But what would be interesting is if they use the U.S. production to make their other .380s here for sale, as I'm sure they would sell a ton of them. A 26s would be neat, and I'd probably buy it rather quickly. |

There are quite a few good ideas here but I cant help but wonder if Glock will end up like SIG offering all these niche models

9mm bullpup carbine that takes 26,19, 17, 18 mags. Make a 16" version and a SBR+suppressor = 16" version. Ambidextrous of course.
Then a version for .40, 45 and 10. 9x18 mak conversion of the Glock 42. Single stack 9mm that's more Glock 19 sized (8 or 9+1) but as thin as a 43. Make the 8/9 rd mags so they'll fit in a 43. As many common parts as possible with the 43 U.S. Made Glock 25 and 28. For the really recoil sensitive. And 9x18 conversions for both. OD green and FDE 42 and 43. Single stack 10mm version similar to a Glock 36. |
|
I'd like to see all the .45/10mm Glocks with slim slides in gen. 4. Also, extended mags for the 29 that are like the 10 round G30 mags with the extra finger area.

And, while I know I am one of those annoying people to you who "think stippling can look good but won't do it to their own guns," I always thought your texaspo/coldborecustoms modified G19 was awesome and very nice to shoot. I do make use of the light rails, so if there was something like a Gen2.5 G19 with a rail but with no finger grooves, it would be awesome. |
