Wouldn't be surprised if they dump the gen 3 line. Seriously hoping it's a ss 9mm so I can buy one in 5 years after the excitement dies and they can be found on the shelves
It was years before I saw a shield in the wild, glock will have a little bit more demand I bet |

If Glock does not come out with a SS, then dont buy a Sheild, get a Walther PPS. Its way closer to a Glock than a Sheild. I have had mine since the second edition came out and love it. That being said if Glock ever did come out with a SS, I would give it a hard look.

I have a dealer friend who said that there are big discounts on glocks right now, $40 dollars off regular wholesale prices.
 His guys are saying, they have slowed down in sales  Hard to get your money back from a used Glock |

That would be the ultimate "we don't care what you want" statement. They already make those (G25 and G28) Consider that most other gunmakers when they went mini/micro SS they started with .380. DB380 and LCP came out before DB9 and LC9, for example. Given the narrower tolerances and slimmer margins, it makes technical sense (and business sense) to start with the much lower pressure .380. Plus if the .380 flopped they could sell it to all those countries that don't allow >.380 |
