Yes, I know there are more options, but these particular 9mm's are available at my local fun shop. Just curious as to what the hive prefers. |

After fingering all the above guns( and a kahr cm9) several times. I settled on the shield. The only negative about the shield is the thumb safety which is subjective anyway. The ergonomics on the shield beat all the others hands down.

Yup, poll fail...
No Walther PPS in the running. It's the best choice. |

Shield with PPS or Kahr as other good options. No interest in the Nano, LC9 or KelTec. XDs jury is still out.

I really wanted to try out the Walther PPS...fun shop didn't have any

Out of those I voted Shield though I've never owned one. I have a K9, MK9 & CM9 which are great and I recommend.

However using the Glock-striker trigger masquerading as a safety IWB or in pocket gives me chills. Pass. DAO Ruger LC9 does it smarter for less. |

There is the obvious solution. |

Search on here and the "Walther" forum and you will see VERY positive feedback on this gun. It really is excellent: size/accuracy/reliability. I can't imagine a better small CCW. |
|
I would pick the Shield, but you should have the PPS in your poll too.

Damn.. With all the Walther fans.. There was no Walther choice... I was about to suggest a SIG P239..

P7
Why be constrained to what your local business has on the shelf? If they want to do business with you they'll order whatever you want, or else you can take your money somewhere else. None of my dozen firearms was picked off some shelf. |

Yep.. I like them too.. I picked up a Bawidaman mag carrier in the P938 config two weeks ago.. See Link for picures~~ http://www.bawidamann.com/shop/Propaganda%20%3E%20Misc/uber-cc-qd-magazine-carrier-sig-938-9mm/ |

Search for PPS trigger reset problem too, in order to get both views of the gun. We really liked the PPS but after getting a couple that had or developed reset issues, we got rid of them and went with a P99c AS. |

Have put a couple hundred rounds through both the Shield and the Nano.
Absolutely cannot go wrong with either, but the Nano did point better for me. Those are the only 2 on the list I have experience with. |
|
After looking at all of them, the wife has a Shield on the way (will be here tomorrow). We'll see how it goes. If I was picking one out for myself I'd have probably gone with the new 4" XDS.

P7 if you have the scratch for it
great pistol and solid investment that will go up in value

Mags are very expensive and the manual of arms/operation is different than most other guns. |

Just picked up a Shield. I liked the SIG 938 but the Shield gives me one more round.
