@backbencher sent me a note about mags at Sarco for our .41 mag guns. $40/pop. I didn't need any, but bought some anyway. I wouldn't rate them excellent like Sarco did, but they are certainly GTG as far as function and fit. Expect the weird paint band at the bottom (which I've not tried to "erase" yet), along with some needed deep cleaning and a bit of minor surface rust on some mags. But they're factory mags with late 80's date codes.

I think I have a workable solution w/ a lot of HDPE & bathroom tiles, and a couple of slide in modules. Now, the question is whether I can afford that much milk and how long it will take FW_wife to notice all the tiles from the shower missing... |
