Been watching Yahari Ore No Seishun Love Come Wa Machigatteiru over the weekend. Dude kinda reminds me of myself in a lot of ways.

Yo, a few questions for you guys!
I've been watching anime for years, but only recently did I find out you can get stuff as its coming out. I use Anime-planet to track what I've seen (I have OCD) as well as what I want to see, but it doesn't seem to be all that great for listing upcoming or currently running shows. For example, I never heard of Watamote! till the pic just above. What sites do you guys hit with listings of upcoming or current running anime to see what you want to watch? Does crunchy play EVERYTHING? 90% 75%? etc of the stuff thats on over there? One last question and this is show specific, I just raced through To Aru Majutso no index. Awesome show! Should I watch index 2 next, or should I watch Railgun (spinoff) that was made before index 2? I'm thinking index 2, then railgun and railgun s.... but wasn't sure if there are any connections that make it better to watch them in release order.... thoughts? |

I'll second Darkstar117's suggestion of TVTropes. They usually have a page for the upcoming season, and a page for the season after that (but it usually starts out with only a few shows listed and gradually expends). There are connections between the shows, but I think you could watch them in either order (Index 1, Index 2, Railgun 1, or Index 1, Railgun 1, Index 2) without too much confusion, since neither of those two orders follows chronological order. The second season of Railgun is currently up to episode 23 or 24, so there's another season to worry about.
The first season of Index starts at the beginning of summer break, and runs to the beginning of the fall semester. The second season of Index picks up where the first season left off. The first season of Railgun starts during the spring semester, and ends a bit into the summer break. The second season of Railgun starts during the summer break, with the events leading up to the "sisters" incident, but telling that story from Misaka Mikoto's (Railgun's) perspective, as she learns of the existence of her clones. |

After that, you might be interested in the light novels (I'm slowly working my way through them). If you look, you can find fan translations of them (I don't think they have been officially translated, yet). 22 volumes of Index, some side stories, and 8 volumes (so far) of Index: New Testament. The anime has plenty of story material for additional seasons or OVAs. A Railgun OVA was released after the first season of Railgun, and they've done an Index/Railgun movie, but I don't think any Index OVAs have been done, yet. |
