I met a bureaucrat who tried to falsely accuse me once. She looked normal at the time. Once I brought in a lawyer and mentioned the cops they folded, but in hindsight, she was eerily acquainted with all the ways to twist legal hijinks. Lies about everything which wasn't on record, trying to deter recordings, etc.

I know exactly where the Milk Pail is, if you're talking about the one on Route 25 between Elgin and East Dundee (not sure exactly which town it's considered), just a bit past the I-90 interchange. It's still there, but now it's a flea market. Holy shit, Gacy was there huh?

He went on to murder his girlfriend and their kid.

John Ferguson.

IQ of around 180.  Developed a horrible drug habit.  Was living with a couple of hookers in a cheap motel and needed some cash, so he decided to rob a liquor store. He couldn't rob "his" liquor store, though - they all knew him there - so he decided to rob a liquor store a couple of miles away.  But he didn't have a car, and even if he had, he had lost his license to several DUIs.  So he called a cab to take him to the other liquor store.

He directed the cabbie to drop him off in a parking lot across the street from the other liquor store, and asked the cabbie to wait for him to go make his purchase and return, but the cabbie wanted no part of waiting around and demanded his fare.  John of course had no money, so he pulled out a sawed-off shotgun and blew the cabbie's brains all over the dashboard.

He then walked over to the other liquor store and robbed it.  Someone saw the murder and called the cops, who arrested John as he exited the other liquor store with the loot.  John spent several years as a guest of the county awaiting trial, but then died attempting to escape when his homemade bedsheet rope snapped and dropped him around twelve stories from the top floor of the jail.  When I hear the word "sociopath", I think of John.

I don’t know if I would classify this as the creepiest person ive ever seen but it was extremely creepy:

I was at my church youth group in the afternoon when I was in the 6th grade or so.  The church was in the middle of an older nice neighborhood on the edge of town, and my friend and I convinced our youth leader (who also happened to be my friends mom) to let us walk 2 blocks to Wendy’s to get dinner and then we’d walk back to the church where the youth leader would give me a ride home.

My friend and I walked into the Wendy’s parking lot and a lady in a Ford Ranger asked us directions to road named Asheville Highway.  Us being in 6th grade tried to explain to the lady how to get there but couldn’t give decent directions as one could imagine.  She opened the passenger door from across the bench seat and kept saying “well just hop in and y’all can show me how to get there.”  I can still see her face to this day.

We finally told her no and went inside the Wendy’s and ate our dinner, and when we finished she was still sitting there, waiting for us to exit.  She again begged us to get in and show us how to get to the road.  We kept telling her to ask an adult and they could easily explain to her the directions.

Finally we both ran off as fast as we could and made it back to the church where the youth leader (also my friends mom and a good friend of my parents) just basically wrote it off and said we were overreacting and probably misunderstood the lady.  My parents basically said the same thing.  I still to this day think that lady was trying to abduct us.

Interviewing a guy to be my assistant at my job.  Had a middling resume but was a veteran with a masters degree so I brought him in.  Within 10 seconds of meeting him the hairs on the back of my neck stood up.  Instant creeps.  Can’t even say it was anything he said or did, just knew.  I conducted the interview, told him about the company, but knew he was definitely not the one.  So much so that I told my boss “I could see this guy walking across the parking lot with a rifle.”

I hired someone else and let him know I would not be moving forward with him.  He blew up on me on the phone and sent me an email that took about 30 minutes to read telling me how I pulled the rug out from under him.     He proceeded to apply to every opening we had in the state.

About a year later I’m opening a location a few states away.  I happen to answer the phone and it’s him asking if we filled the open position at this new location.   I informed him we had.  We hadn’t.

I went to our HR and let them know I had serious reservations about this guy and he’s applying everywhere.

I forget about him for a year or so till I see this in the news.

A Greek Orthodox priest who visited my seminary on a Saturday in 1978. He talked a fellow student and I into joining him for lunch. The lunch was probably the most disturbing hour I'd spent in my life.

I'm glad I was 23 at the time (and had spent several years working prior to seminary). So I basically responded appropriately at the restaurant, in getting visibly angry and telling him he was way out of line. My friend's first language was not English and he had a difficult time understanding what was going on as the priest was speaking in vulgar American idioms.

Had I been ten years younger I think the experience would have been traumatic. And I was fortunate as it was nothing more than a series of his intense, sickening conversation.

I don't think it is an understatement to say that at the time it seemed like a psychological assault.

Many years later I told the priest's bishop of my experience and he apologized to me and indicated that the priest had been laicized ("I took away his stole") and he was paying for psychological treatment for the priest.

Others who came in contact with him weren't as fortunate as I was:

When I was in college considering a career in ophthalmology, I worked with a large group of eye doctors.

As an assistant, we would take the patients back, do a health history, and perform all of the various preliminary tests before the doctor would pop in.

One day there was a patient that none of the women assistants wanted to work with, so I took him back to a room.

He was an ancient little man with fierce blue eyes and a boney angular nose.  He spoke with a thick Eastern European accent.

I was trying to make small talk as we worked our way through the various tests.  He would continually guide the conversation in bizarre directions.

Things like..."Tell me young man, people must share interesting stories with you when they are alone in a dark room... eh?  "You have powerful hands young man, you could certainly crush bone... don't you think?  When I was looking at his eyes with the slit lamp microscope, mere centimeters from his face he asked "In my life, I've found one can sense a person's strongest desires and secrets by casting deeply into their eyes.. do you agree?"

I was desperately trying to change the subject when I noticed he was wearing a large silver ring that was a depiction of a demon skull with rubys set for eyes.  It was comically oversized on his gaunt boney finger.

I made the mistake of asking him about it.  His eyes flashed and he became aggressively alert.  "Oh, you like my ring do you?" He said it with a ghastly smile I'll never forget.  He totally transformed from a helpless little old man ino someone to be feared.

He began rolling the ring over his boney finger.  Then he said;  "it used to fit me perfectly when I had powerful hands like yours".  When he said that, I had the same visceral response of fear that I have felt when squaring up against someone who was likely to kick my ass or at least be a formidable threat.

Then he started speaking in a foreign language.  I started feeling deeply nauseated and dizzy. I stood up and stumbled out of the room.  I fled in fear... I stumbled to reception and told them I was finished with the patient and promptly barfed in the trash bin next to their desk.

The doctor finished the exam without anything notable.

At the lunch break, I mentioned to the doctor that the girls didn't like to work with the patient and asked him what was this guy's story.  I didn't relate my own cowardly response to him...

The doctor just said, "that patient  reminds me that evil walks the earth" and then he turned and walked away.

The girls had a great time teasing me about the patient that made me barf for a few weeks.  I'll never forget that experience. I felt utterly vulnerable when I was alone in a small dark room with that ancient little man.

A large company I worked at years ago hired a woman and her husband at the same time, and paid to relocate them across the country.  I don't know where the wife worked, but the husband got assigned to my group.

You know how sometimes people describe weird bulgy muscles at the corners of the jawbone as an indicator that someone is constantly psychotically angry?  Yep, that guy had that.  And he was constantly psychotically angry about everything.  He hated everything and everyone around him.  Any conversation with him was an likely to result in him being outraged -- not the leftist woke political shit, just outraged because psychotic anger issues.

He wanted out of the job and insisted that since the company would have paid to relocate the whole household just to bring his wife onboard, they should release him from employment without having to repay the relocation costs for him.

I think the company finally got the message on what an obvious psycho the guy was, because after a couple of months they finally did turn him loose without demanding repayment of his relocation expenses.  I was relieved to see him gone.

Okay, quoting myself here to refresh, now that I have time to relate this one...

I have told this story on this website a few times before, in various similar threads as this, over the years, but here it is again:

When I was a boy growing up we had a kid in our neighborhood that I went to school with.  His name was Danny G. (that's as specific as I want to get here, sorry).

Danny was around 15 years old when this happened (and IIRC he was about a year older than me).

This was a nice, quiet, typical middle class suburban neighborhood.  The kind of place where "bad things aren't supposed to happen."

At least as far as I ever knew, no one ever noticed anything "wrong" about Danny.  He seemed a normal enough kid, like anyone else, and never really stood out in a crowd for any reason.

Until that one, not so fine day...

...when the five year old girl who lived next door to him went missing.

Her parents were needless to say frantic.  Last they knew she had been outside playing in the yard, and then, "POOF!"  Gone.

Police were called, and a search was quickly begun.

I think it was about a day or so later when they found her.

Or, more accurately, "what was left" of her.

What happened, you see, is that Danny G., for reasons known only to himself and the voices in his head apparently, had abducted her while she was out playing, taken her down into his basement, murdered her, then
cut her body up into pieces, put them into plastic trash bags, and placed them outside in the trash cans, to await the curbside trash pickup along with the rest of the trash.  And that's where the cops found her remains.
You know, an arm in one bag, maybe a leg in another bag, like that.

And no one, ever, knew what possessed Danny to do that.

I still have our school yearbook from that year, with his class picture in it.

If I remember right, what he told police is that he "just wanted to find out what it was like to kill someone."

Pretty sure that if there was a metal plate on the back of his head that you could remove to look inside, you would have seen loose wires, with sparks coming off of them.

They put him away in some kind of mental institution for the criminally insane, and I don't know if he ever got out or not, but I hope not.

Remember when you were little and you had nightmares, and your parents would try to calm and reassure you by telling you there are no such thing as monsters?

Well, they lied.

Monsters are very real, and they walk amongst us.

Absolutely 100% correct. Leftist whackjobs are trying to beat it into kids to not trust your instincts and to suppress them,  because you may hurt someone’s feelings ??. I ask my kids constantly, would they rather be stabbed, beaten, robbed, possibly killed, or possibly hurt someone’s feelings? We have instincts and intuition specifically to keep us safe. Use them.

I was shooting on a non-monitored public range in the Ocala (Florida) National Forest. I liked to go on weekdays as I often had th whole place to myself. I was shooting on one such day when I noticed a couple walking into the parking lot from the woods. He looked like 1st prize winner of a Charles Manson look-a-like contest and she looked like Skeletor with a body by meth. They were standing in the parking lot and I got the distinct feeling that I was being sized-up for dinner. I quickly packed up my gear, abandoning my target and stand down range and walked to my vehicle with my loaded Ruger Mk.II still in my hand. I wasn’t pointing it at them but there was no way in Hell I was unloading it and casing it in front of them. I kept eye contact with them until I was inside my vehicle and locked the doors. I didn’t have air-conditioning but I kept the windows up in that 120 degree car until they were gone from my rear view mirror. This was in the 80s, before cell phones so I drove to the nearest ranger station to just let someone know about the weird encounter (they were not there to shoot and had no vehicle) but there was nobody there.

Nothing bad happened but there is no doubt that they saw me as potential prey.

When I was about 10 or so I use to go to 7-11 to play video games. This was in the early 80s. Anyhow one day I was playing Star Wars game with an older kid, he was maybe 16 or so. I weird old man came in and went up to the both of us playing and asked us if we wanted to make any money, you know so we could play more star wars.. I was like yeah that sounds good. His truck was parked out front, old POS with a weird green camper top on the bed, you know the kind people could live in. As I was about to wander off to make my easy money the older kid said dont go to me and told the old man to fuck off. The old guy gave us an evil look, prior to this it was all smiles and what not. The guy left.

I saw later on the news a picture of him, he drove I guess shortly there after to the next town, got a kid my age into his truck took him away and brutally beat, raped then murdered him

He ended up going to jail after being caught and was promptly murdered by another inmate who was previously abused by chomos like this as a kid.

I owe that older kid alot.. never saw him again. But he saved me from likely the same fate. I think about this time to time over the years. It never really meant to much when I was 10 but now seeing it for what it is.. makes me wonder and im thankful for being lucky and alive.

Just the feeling you get, or inside knowledge? I think I remember reading something about him getting Henley out of that underage girl/OD charge.

Dude I grew up with, brother's best friend.  Creepy kinda guy but funny to be around.  Always knew something was off about this guy mentally.  He ended up going to prison for raping his girlfriends infant daughter

Worked with a guy who was a HUGE soccer fan. Had my daughter in the office one day, for some reason and I mentioned that he liked soccer as much as she did and she could probably talk to him about it.

She took one look at him and said, "No, he's creepy." and refused to go up there.

Fucker got nailed for production of child pornography over state lines (or something like that) a few years later. He'd actually tried to contact the daughter of one of our co-workers, at one point.

I went home that night and told her to listen to her gut, when it tells her someone is creepy.

Worked with some Lurch/Frankenstein type dude at a pizza place, while I was going through college. As far as I know, he never got arrested over anything, but if I heard he had women chained up in his basement or he ate his neighbor, I wouldn't be surprised.

One night, after a late job at a client site, I had to be to another town a good distance away in the morning. Took State Route 125 though the Wayne National Forest, as a direct route into Portsmouth, where I'd pick up 52 into Chesapeake. I left site a little after 10pm and it was well past sundown. The forest was thick and dark, cutting off most light you'd get from the stars and there was no moon that night. Spooky type stuff.

I was catching 1370 out of Toledo off some sort of atmospheric bounce or something and Art Bell was spinning up another creepy story. It really completed the atmosphere. As I came over a rise and around a corner, I came across an olt timer, standing on the side of the highway, in nothing more than bib overalls, holding an old Coleman style gas lantern. Just silently looked at me, as I passed. No other reaction.

Don't know why, exactly, but it creeped me out. Told myself that I wasn't coming out of that forest alive that night. Either the aliens, bigfeet, or hillbillies were going to "get me". I was never happier to find a shitty hotel on the side of the highway, just about 20 minutes short of my destination for the next morning.

The only time I've ever had really bad vibe was about 25 years ago when my teenage son and his buddy brought a couple of girls to the house. I looked at one of the girls and, like a lightning strike, had the thought, "that one is trouble". Not a clue why or how that happened but later on, when my son got served with a paternity action, it came out that she had sex with my son, his buddy and at least one other guy, all named as potential sperm donors. My son won the prize on that and paid child support for 18 years. I've talked to the woman a few times over the years and never again got the vibe to that degree but there is something weird about her.

When I was in 7th grade at the local library, some guy hiding behind a row of bookshelves about 10 feet away from me pulled out his dick and started masturbating while talking to me.

I moved. He followed me. I didn’t tell any of the librarians because I didn’t think they’d believe me. I moved again to the opposite side of the library and he followed me again. I couldn’t make out what he was saying, but he was jacking it the whole time.

I finally bolted out of the library and jumped on my bike and hauled ass home. I told my mother. She called police.

Police were already looking for him. He escaped from the Bridgewater State Hospital for the Criminally Insane (they changed it to “Bridgewater State Hospital” years later). It’s where they keep all the crazy whack jobs in MA. The entire town is rigged up with sirens in case someone escapes.

Guy I went to high school with.

Murdered a few people and was caught after doing a drive by where a 4-year old was killed.  Just angry and weird.

Modern viewpoint.

In 1942 we didn't have a lot of North Africa/Middle East assets because why the fuck would we?

It's only because of oil needed for our cars that we give a shit about the area.

My felonious coworkers have committed some pretty heinous stuff…before and after their employment.

Even the guy that snapped one day and killed his baby mommas and little children didn’t come across as creepy.  Never saw that one coming.  Even the lasted coworker who just murdered his girlfriend, abducted her children before shooting it out with the cops didn’t appear ‘creepy’.  He was certainly weird as was evident by his previous crime of digging up a young, freshly buried dead woman to have sex with.

Creepiest is a current employee who did 15 years for killing two rival drug dealers.  He got captured for that after being featured on America’s Most Wanted.  Rumor is he is/was in deep with some cartel.  That guy gives off a discomforting vibe.  I do my best to avoid him.
