I had to ask the choir singers what is Beale in the lyrics of Walking in Memphis. It's a famous jazz area centered on Beale St.
Trouble is our corporation required us to leave Memphis immediately, not stopping until we cross into Mississippi when flying into MEM. So I never go to see anything of that city. MEM is a shitty airport, btw. One would think it would be much nicer being the hub for FedEx. I wonder what the city is doing with all those fees from FedEx. It certainly not going to the passenger side of the airport. |
