So I can't remember the last time I have seen this on cable TV.

What other Sci-fi shows out there that were big back in the day that you can't ever find on cable?

I can find the OG star trek on H&I channel but the others toy have there is a good start.

Why is that?  I can find cheesy old time western shows all day long but not so much cheese scifi

I always liked the anthology/short story type of shows.  When I was a kid in the 80s/90s it seemed these were all in syndication but I haven't seen them in years.  Here's a bunch I thought of right away:

Alfred Hitchcock Presents
Amazing Stories
Beyond Belief
Night Gallery
The Outer Limits
Tales from the Crypt
Tales from the Cryptkeeper
Tales from the Darkside

Oh, and also The Monkees

I know you said cable but there are a ton of old shows on some of  the lesser known streaming services, the kind with a lot of commercials.  You can try the site/app Just Watch to search.

There are so many shows and movies from the past that have seemingly disappeared. That's a shame since they were so much better than the crap on TV these days.

Lots of old TV shows on Tubi (including V)

Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea popped up on whatever that old show channel the wife watches, I forgot just how hilarously bad early SciFi is.

Quark, with Richard Benjamin.

Of course, Gene/Jean, the "transmute" guarantees that will never get rebroadcast, lol.

Space Above and Beyond.

That was a decent series.

"I'm the farthest man from home, I'm the farthest man from home"

"It's as easy as eating pancakes"

"Chiggy Von Baron"

Pluto TV has several Star Trek live channels, including TOS.

They also have the first season of TOS on demand, or at least they did recently.

Streaming channels like Roku and Tubi have so many of these series.  Outer Limits (original and the 90s version) are always on Roku.  I think Netflix might even have several Star Trek series.

I have to rewatch Space 1999.  That’s on multiple channels.

Some of us have every single episode of every single Star Trek.

Except Discovery.  That show has AIDS.

The V mini-series doesn't hold up very well.  The 19 episode regular TV series that followed is hot garbage on re-visiting.

I loved it when I was 7.  If you liked it, don't re-watch it, just enjoy your fuzzy memories of it.

I rewatched for the umpteenth time, Space 1999 and I’m about to finish UFO. Watched them on YouTube.

MeTv in my area shows Star Trek, Kolchak, Lost in Space, Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea, Land of the Giants, Time Tunnel and The Invaders on late night Saturday night.

I was practically raised on corny 90s scifi

Hardly anyone seems to remember Alien Nation. Insert milk joke here.

Also Tek War was God awful. The hell was going on with Shatner - was he doing coke or drinking heavily when he boosted this series.

Assumed that Star Trek would still be watchable. I avoid TV nowadays and have very little idea what is currengly available...
