Sure Trump spent money fighting a disease no one knew anything about and tried to keep the economy open...what is Biden's excuse for continuing to spend at record levels?  Trump spent 2.59T and got a vaccine out (like it or not) that was to be the end of panic, lockdowns, and everything else.  Biden has since spent another 4.84 T above the 2019 levels, almost double what Trump spent trying to beat covid.  But you orange man bad people still try to blame it all on Trump.

You can't look at it like that.  You have to look at it as the biggest ushering in of socialism since FDR and stop there. Critical thinking isn't allowed in GD.

Excellent way to educate the public, hope the site explains shrink inflation. And fuck off to all the ones that blame Trump, he was handcuffed with the plandemic, and knew the economy was his key to reelection, every death would have been blamed on him if he let economy continue, he fell for the trap, a no win situation with all the fake friends, commie infiltrators and rino jags. Interest rate suppression, money printing, deficit spending, and socialist handouts all have consequences.

Trump wanted negative interest rates, remember that?  He wanted larger stimulus handouts than congress would approve, and he wanted his name on the checks. The democrat congress had to hold him back.

Blaming the inflation over the last 3 years on anything but our Covid response under Trump is disingenuous. And if he had received another 4 years, it would arguably have been worse.

Dems are hiding their massive social program driven  spending by claiming miniscule deficit drops from Trump level spending,  which was high for a reason .  Trump was in a bad lose / lose situation ,  spend for a deficit or not spend and get an economic disaster.

Though I'm fairly well qualified I'm not buying any livestock of any kind to hold for personal consumption unless it's an emergency. Many around us have space and other for 2-20 head of anything. In SHTF my issue becomes how do I feed them. It seems almost impossible to provide enough sustainable protein on just so few acres.

I'm almost 70. My favorite Uncle was "Buck". He killed Germans at night after jumping out of an airplane. He made it through Bastogne. I spent a LOT of time with him as a young person. Too many stories to tell here. He told me what we needed was a good dictator for about two weeks. I laughed when he said that in 1974.

No excuse, that’s how funding works when the President and the House are at war with each other. It happens to Every president in that position.  Reagan had the same problem…all spending bills come from the House and if they have the votes to override the veto the president either signs it or gets nothing.

That's because Biden's only increased our debt for 3 years.  By the end of the year Biden will hold that record.  Trump increased it 7.1 T and in 3 years Biden has already increased it 6.2 T.  Continuing at that pace Biden will have increased it over 8 T in 4 years.

What does any of that have to do with Biden's excessive deficit spending and monetary policy that resulting in high inflation and now high infest rates?  What you are doing is called deflection, by twisting bad data against Biden and projecting it on Trump.  This is a Biden's inflation thread now a "how much does Trump suck" thread.  Why are you trying to protect Biden?

By sticking to the subject matter of the thread title.  There is no perfect politician, so every political thread is really a conversation of the least retarded kid on the short bus.  Biden has spent all the money and what do we have to show for it?  Bridges falling down or being shutdown all over the place.  High grocery and energy prices.  Vehicle prices through the roof.  Homes that are no longer affordable to purchase.  All of that happened under Biden.  It doesn't matter who started kicking the can first, Biden continued it and did so in a big way.

Oh, stop it.

Turning a "How much does Biden suck" thread into a "How much does/did Trump suck" thread is the literal definition of deflection.  Republicans love to eat their own.  Democrats stand behind their people, even if they are terrible.  We just had that whole media circus from the Dems going on about how Biden is "sharp, articulate, and better than ever" even though Biden doesn't know where he is half the time.
