All DeSantis could contribute is that he would not be the cloud in front of the sun.

DeSantis screwed the pooch with Florida's abortion ban. He is toast and will hurt the ticket more than it already is.

Of course I'll vote Trump and DeSantis.
It's not just who you're voting for it's who you're voting against. I can't imagine what this country will look like with another four years of biden. |

Have been saying for months, my ideal ticket since desantis lost, would be Trump drawing fire, while Ron is the real power behind the scenes just fucking the leftists deep, hard and often
That would be awesome |

If Brandon wins again, they're one bad news cycle away from a midterm nailbiter, after which you'll get voting for migrants, followed by extra states and a packed SCOTUS. 2024 is a goal-line stand. Don't get me wrong, this primary was a bunch of bullshit and the grifters were disgraceful - but 2024 isn't one we can sit home for. |

If Trump wins and has the will to actually clean house and go after those in government who have engaged in political persecution, having a Reserve military, JG on staff might be really, REALLY fucking handy, I'm just saying.

Reading between the lines: Trump is going broke from the Lawfare (which he has egged on) and needs DeSantis to go front for him to get more donations, to keep paying for the Lawfare and NOT the campaign.
I predict, I hope wrongly, we are going to lose massively in November, including Congress. We barely hold the House right now and it may be gone before November anyway. The future for America and our freedoms is rapidly disappearing. |

Unless Trump moves his legal residence, it would be impossible for a Trump / DeSantis ticket to win the electoral college.
See Article II of the Constitution and the 12th Amendment. |

DeSantis would be stupid to attach his name to Trump in anyway.

You would have to be a moron to vote for any Democrat in the up coming election based on the weaponizing of the Justice department and other U.S. government agency against the people of the United States.

I will vote for Trump. There were better candidates on the GOP ticket but he got the nod.
DeSantis will potentially temper him but l like VR much better. |

DeSantis won't be tied up in court.
He could add much to the campaign. |

A Trump/DeSantis ticket would no doubt drive all the Trump haters here into a furious circle jerk of pleasure.
But then they would become severely conflicted and angry once they realize their support of DeSantis makes them de facto supporters of Trump. I'm guessing they would have to go into deep psychoanalysis where their toilet training and resentment towards their mother would need extensive exploration. |

Ron doesn’t bring any states to the table, or any voting block.
I like him, and could support him in 28. And he’d be a great counterweight to Trump. But he doesn’t move the ball forward at all. Some of the Independents hate him more than Trump. |

Voted No, but I would pull the lever. I go to DeSantis World once a year. Best theme park in North America. I spend more money in Florida every year on recreation than I do in my home state, and it's always the best money I ever spent. He's more valuable to me as the Governor of Florida than some also ran for VP. The rational humans in this country need a place of refuge...DeSantis runs the best joint in town. He needs to hang tight to that torch. I'm sure some will disagree...maybe even some Florida natives, but y'all got a good thing going. Grab that man by the ankles and hang on.

Quoted: Why did you leave "DeSantis President and Trump VP" off the poll? 2024 WAS a goal-line stand. Now we're trapped between four years of Biden, but mid-terms and the next presidential election go Republican vs. Trump's second term resulting in a blue wave taking all three branches starting in 2026. I'm more scared of the second. Seek psychological help and take some mentats. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted: Quoted:

It certainly would not seem wise to have both your President & Vice President from the same state.
12th Amendment ... The Electors shall meet in their respective states and vote by ballot for President and Vice-President, one of whom, at least, shall not be an inhabitant of the same state with themselves. ... If BOTH Trump & DeSantis run on the SAME ballot, then "Team Trump" had better find a huge enough surplus of votes to win - without Florida's massive electoral vote count, since BOTH Trump & DeSantis are "Inhabitants" of Florida. |

would vote for desantis, not trump. sorry 2020 was bad enough and biden simply followed trump playbook into 2021/2022.

DeSantis needs to say no if the VP slot is offered. He's accomplishing more in FL than he would as VP. And I still have very grave doubts Trump's going to win anyway.
