Just finished all 3 seasons of Haven. It's based on a Stephen King book and while I'm generally not a big King fan...this was fairly good. Emily Rose is worth a look.

The GF and I just finished season 3 of Being Human.  It's a SyFy series about a ghost, a vampire, and a werewolf that live in the same house.   It's a drama with some wit, violence, and a briskly moving continual story-line.  Seasons 1-2 are on NF, season 3 we downloaded.  Season 4 is due out in January.

If your GF is a "Twihard" she will probably like it, but it's good for couples viewing.  I was entertained.

(And yes, I'm very ashamed I used the word Twihard...thanks in advance.  )

I'm almost through Season 3 of the Walking Dead.

Eventually I'm going to watch the last season of "24" that I never saw.

Surprisingly the last season of "24" was one of the best seasons in the whole series, IMO.  You should definitely give it a watch.

Watched "A Beginners Guide to Endings" this weekend.  At first I thought it was going to be a chick flick, but it was very good comedy.

Showtime and Netflix announced some exciting news for "Dexter" fans: the complete series will be available for streaming fairly soon.

The serial killer drama aired its final episode, "Remember the Monsters?," on Sept. 22, and Netflix and CBS Corporation announced little over a month later when the series will be available online. Beginning on Oct. 31, the first four seasons of "Dexter" will appear on Netflix. Then on Jan. 1, 2014, the final four seasons will be available.

When I first got Netflix, I just had to take a look at that one when the spousal unit was out of town.  However, much to my dismay I learned that I could not erase the viewing history...

For some reason laughed out loud at this review further down the page...

"that a load of cr*p. everything here is terrible. the acting, the plot (if you can call it plot).I'd rather have a buffalo take a diarrhea dump in my ear than watch this movie. I want those 10 minutes of my life back!!if you just want to see breasts just watch porn and don't waste your time with this."

I don't know if it's been listed, but Dredd is surprisingly good!

I thought it was just going to be some low budget knockoff of Judge Dredd.  This is actually 10x the movie that Judge Dredd was.

It takes about 15 minutes to get going, but the shootouts are great.  It's pretty graphic too (a lot of slow-motion bullets hitting and exiting bodies, etc.), and none of it really struck me as cheesy.  If you can get over the frown face that the lead character has through most of the movie you will enjoy it.  Not much of a story, but the action scenes are great IMO.

'Schoolgirl Hitchhikers'

"Two comely young hitchhikers with a penchant for lesbian sex become involved with a band of jewel thieves when they enter a seemingly abandoned villa."

I haven't seen this movie, but if I was forced to watch a random foreign film I could probably do a lot worse.

If they'd put as much energy into running their car repair business that they put into the MC they'd be millionaires.

What I found funny the first few seasons is that they weren't making that much money off the gun trade.  I mean I can understand risking over a decade in prison if you're making millions a year, but individually they weren't making that much more money being gun runners than if they were being just mechanics.

I guess it's like Michael's quote from 'Heat': "Well ya know, for me, the action is the juice."

Yep, looks like Instantwatcher.com may have jumped the gun or Netflix is holding it up from being added. Not the first time its happened. In the past we've seen shows added one day, removed the next, or announced as added and don't show up for a day or two.

I saw it the other night as well.  The only thing that bugged me was that it seemed like he was really trying hard to frown the entire movie.  I get the hardass Dredd character but the actor looked really forced doing it.

Olympus has Fallen wasn't too bad either (as mentioned above) for a "turn off you brain watch shit blow up movie"
