Let’s see if my Braves can make it further than their first series in the post season this year.

MLB lost me when they painted BLM logos on everything. Nothing like having to stare at that on the pitchers mound the whole game.

First two posters definitely got picked last in gym class. Opening day of baseball hell yeah!

Looking forward to the Braves this year, going to see a game in a few weeks.

MLB is still all kinds of fucked-up, it pains me greatly to say.
BLM supporters from the start (Boston even had a huge banner hung outside Fenway). Last season the Dodgers held a pride night... |

Used to my my favorite day of the year. Then I just kinda drifted away. Don't even watch the world series anymore.

Said it here before, I'm sad it took me so long, but so thankful to God I finally caught on before it was too late. IMHO a good MLB game is about a nail-biting as it can get in all of sports, solely because of its "it's too slow I'm bored" pace coupled with its deliberate actions and consequences. Yeah, just my personal opinion, but still I'm thankful I gave it a chance again. I revisited it with my full attention when the Astros took it in 2017, and have been a fan ever since.

I will keep up with it until about third or forth week, by then the Mets will be ten or eleven games out of first and I will be waiting for next year

No matter the team, I'd turn down any and all "opportunities" to personally meet or mingle with an NFL team. I'd feel fortunate if I ever got to meet the Astros. And I wouldn't fear for my life in doing so. Just say'n.

One more thought and I'll shut the fuck up. When I have been forced to endure most interviews of NFL players, in my mind it's usually "me me me", and almost every time I see the MLB guys interviewed it's always "us us us".
ETA IMO on the whole many MLBers also seem to still be old school gents. As opposed to violent NFL fights, I find it kind of cool how opposing team members still greet each other with smiles and banter when getting on base. Not much hate out there, and a lot of love for the game and what it gives the fans. |

Go Cubs Go! Baseball is still the best mix of strategy, strength, individual and team brains, and athleticism in sports.
Also, I am aware that there are some baseball players who are not the ideal physical specimen so save it. Talent and strategy usually compensate for those players. |
