IMO no. Or nothing like feetsball. Yeah, all the angry GDers will now chime in with examples, but whatever. They still value selfless teamwork that lifts individuals to greatness. I've seen lots of stadium participation about good matters and issues, such as fuck cancer and honoring veterans. IMHO it's about the last one with any semblance classic America values. And yeah, there were cheaters and sscumbags in MLB in the 70s too.

Said it here before, I'm sad it took me so long, but so thankful to God I finally caught on before it was too late. IMHO a good MLB game is about a nail-biting as it can get in all of sports, solely because of its "it's too slow I'm bored" pace coupled with its deliberate actions and consequences. Yeah, just my personal opinion, but still I'm thankful I gave it a chance again. I revisited it with my full attention when the Astros took it in 2017, and have been a fan ever since.

One more thought and I'll shut the fuck up.

When I have been forced to endure most interviews of NFL players, in my mind it's usually "me me me", and almost every time I see the MLB guys interviewed it's always "us us us".

ETA IMO on the whole many MLBers also seem to still be old school gents. As opposed to violent NFL fights, I find it kind of cool how opposing team members still greet each other with smiles and banter when getting on base. Not much hate out there, and a lot of love for the game and what it gives the fans.

Baseball is still the best mix of strategy, strength, individual and team brains, and athleticism in sports. Also, I am aware that there are some baseball players who are not the ideal physical specimen so save it. Talent and strategy usually compensate for those players.
