Anybody have a recommendation for a tier 1 USB Charging station?

There's a million on Amazon and I've tried a few but am sick of crappy ones.

Looking for something like 8-10 USB A ports that can hand 4 Nintendo Switches, a tablet, a phone, headphones, Kindles, all that stuff.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Anything made by Anker.

Anker has been my go-to, but 8-10 ports is a lot.

USB A?

in all seriousness though. Anker is good. I've also been very pleased with the UGreen line off Amazon. The 300W brick is awesome for pumping 140W out for a
laptop and fast charging from the other four ports. They also have a 200W brick that is six ports.

Amazon Product
  • 300W Super Power: Supports 140W output (only for MacBook Pro 16 inchs) on C1 port and up to 100W output on C2 and C3 ports, charge up to 5 devices simultaneously with a maximum output of 300W

Amazon Product
  • High speed charging: Fully charge a 16in MacBook Pro in 1,5 hours, with the latest GaN chip, get a charge 3 times faster than your original iPhone charger

I have an Anker 543 Charger on my desk that has 4 ports. I think they sell them in a few different USB configurations. You could get two of them.

I don't think they have any really large USB splitters, and when they are larger they charge slower sharing the same wattage with more ports.

Aside from Anker, look into uGreen, Baseus, and AOHI.

Personally, I would just buy Anker and be done with it.

Get a couple of units with fewer ports - unless you absolutely need a single wall plug.

I'm an Anker fan boy. I have this that I bought several years ago.

I bought this last Oct.  Has worked pretty good for me.  Individual ports that are switched.    https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0C6LZ8MYW/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&th=1

Not a power user but this hub works well for me powering a single board computer.

OP needs a USB charging station, not a USB hub.

UGreen for home and car has been solid
Anker has given my troubles from the tablet station cordless charger, to battery packs that was recommended here, and slowass wall chargers.

This gave out just a day over the return policy expired.
Amazon Product
  • Quick & Easy: Wireless charging dock eliminates the need to plug in your Fire HD 10 Plus (11th Generation) every time you want to charge it. The dock is always ready. Just drop your tablet in the dock and let it charge. Fire HD 10 Plus (11th Generation) sold separately.

I have Anker batteries that I’ve been using for years and they’ve been loaned out and gone on trips and are still kicking.

I also have a couple pairs of their soundcore ear buds that have been through hell and back and are still going strong.

Good luck.  I don't know of any multiple USB-C chargers.  I like my Anker - but it is single usb-C.  Switches kind of want USB-C charging speeds.

Anker of course, but also look into magnetic tip cables

I have the same problem, 3 kids, each with a tablet and Switch, plus two school chromebooks.   My concern with most of the "charging station/rack" is that they won't survive my little Tasmania Devils.

My solution is I am going to repurpose a 1.5" thick cutting board and drill in dowel rods as spacer/vertical supports, mount the charger on the side and use paracord guts to tie all of the charging cords together and secure to the board to prevent them from disappearing (those things disappear faster than Halloween candy in our house).

Basis for my idea
