Ferried SN542 from Obregon, MX to Las Vegas on a contract gig last week. Interesting airplane. Was not equipped with some stuff that was basically standard equipment in 2004 but has the EVS camera in the tail. Who buys that for a PC12? Great for seeing the top of the plane.

ETA: I fly PC12NGs primarily since 2008. The few times a year I get back in legacy ships are always fun right after takeoff and I make the first turn. It's like driving a car when the power steering quits. Occasionally I will look to see that I didn't accidentally engage the AP when I engage the YD after gear retraction. To say nothing of reaching to the glareshield for the heading knob to remember that the heading knob is on the EFIS controller on the legacy planes.

Climbing out of MMCN with the Gulf of Cortez in the background.

Here is what I have been flying for training. I got my pilot license in the C172 and working on IFR in the Arrow.
The TBM850 is what my dad has and what we take for trips. Has the G1000 which makes it almost too easy. Shot is at KAPA.

Huh, first Navion I've seen with doors. Didn't know those existed.

I'd really like to go fly a couple of hours. I'm pretty sure I've seen my last PIC time, though. Suppose I'll have to spend a couple hundred on some dual time.

Nice. I got to fly the 427 prototype for 15 minutes or so back in 1999. This thread made me realise. I flew on and off for over 20 years on more than a dozen fixed wing and rotary types, didn't accumulate more than around 600hrs but I don't have a single picture of me flying.....

My 76 Commuter was red and had the odd combination of wheel pants and a climb prop. 90 MPH and 4.5 GPH worked for me. When the whole point of flying is to build time, does it matter how long it takes to get there?

That a/c was bought new from factory and was based in TJIG (ISLA GRANDE, P.R.). The owner has car dealerships all over the island. Prior to that plane he had a C208B with the same tail #.

It belongs to a huge tomato producer and exporter in Obregon now. Turned down the offer to drive it full time. Nice guys though.

Some people just don't appreciate good stuff.  I was getting checked out to rent a 172 a couple of weeks ago, the instructor was telling me how nice all the instruments were...

I was just hoping he didn't notice that I forgot to remove the pitot tube cover.

My first ever solo was in this Citabria.  It had an oil pressure gauge.

All of Indiana is a strip after the crops are off! You can land anywhere.

These aren't exciting, but what I have on the phone. Sorry to disappoint but it's only a 180.

Everybody needs pretty valve covers with polished aluminum.

After a midnight run sightseeing around CT. I'm 5' 11" for reference of how proud she sits on the 8.50x6's. 29" are on the budget, someday.

Flying chase for the big iron (aluminum?)

Here we go, the corresponding pic to the short final pic. And this shot was taken with a GoPro.

You always have to photo the photographer.

And I want to be so much like CFII I sit on the same side. I pretend my flap lever is the collective :)
