I've never seen this before. I'm a bit surprised that it was made public.

Crabs gotta eat, same as worms

The world is a dangerous place to live; not because of the people who are evil, but because of the people who don't do anything about it.

And the worms ate in to his brain.

Fkn seatbelts man.
I don’t want to watch this, do I?
Did they ever recover those remains?
I didn't know about this footage. |
Really really sad. And there but for the grace of God go any of us.
Show your love to the people close to you every day like it's your last, because one day you're going to be right. |

Why is the sky blue?
What makes the green grass grow? |
Obviously they can get divers down there. They need to recover the bodies.

5 year old random 40 second video off YouTube? Anything to substantiate your title claim?

I had a coworker who had a brother who died in that crash.
Sad deal. |

I looked it up. Took close to a year, but they recovered all the bodies, that’s impressive. 8mi offshore, 130’ down (give or take.)

If had to bet a dollar on fake vs real, I'd say fake.

I was told it took two years to get all the plane pieces out. I got to walk inside it after it was reassembled.. It was was a weird feeling.

That would be a ton of dives and divers on scuba. The no deco time on the table for 120 ft is 13 minutes. I would think the navy would use surface supplied salvage divers and a chamber on the boat for a long operation like this. But I do see reference to many agencies taking part in the recovery and using scuba. The view of the other diver is very brief, tough to get a look at his setup.
I’ve dove that depth in Jersey and you can get conditions like that, good vis and calm. It certainly seems bright for that depth. It’s been a long time but I know I have had it that bright but can’t recall ever having it that bright at 120. |
It's fake.

1) F2PNI
2) Sea water dissolves calcium quickly. After the crabs have their turn, the bones dissolve quickly. I wonder the timeframe between the blast and the time of that video. |
I worked with a man that was on that flight.
He was going to Europe with his new bride for their honeymoon. Real or fake, my heart sank as soon as I saw the first body in that video. Shit sucks. |
Is he gonna get better?

It's some dude's personal channel with some random Army and firefighter stuff. Most of the stuff seems to be somewhat related. No way to tell if the video is what it says it is. Old VHS can be faked, but it looks like the uploader probably found the video and uploaded it to his channel to save it for themself. |

My first question would be, did the NTSB or FAA ground all 747's at the time. If they didn't, why not? |

Only thing is a foia showing missile testing occurred off coast of new york back then, but no dates or times to link to crash. Seems too bright for the depth of TWA 800 (ETA: Maybe not, looking at other footage of dives around that depth) but looks otherwise convincing. |

The front fell off. Literally. That had to be one of the scariest deaths imaginable. Looking down the isle and seeing sky where the cabin used to be. Just along for the ride straight down to sea level at that point.

Piloted by skeletons. No wonder why it crashed.
I'd buy that for a dollar!
I have no idea if that is TWA 800 or not but the exposure issue is not any indication of depth, I can easily make midnight look like noon and old video cameras were fairly adept at adjusting exposure. I've got photos from 100' down outside of the Singapore harbor in 5' visibility that are brighter than that video and I could barely see my fins if I looked down. Twirl aperture ring, make things brighter.
The moire in that video seems to indicate it is a video of a video: it's someone filming a screen. |

As such IIRC, many bodies were recovered intact or at least mostly intact. It wasn't like it went in nose first at 500 knots. |
