Monte Cristo Platinum last night. Someone gave me some. It was "meh" and out of my normal type. Free cigars is free cigars is about all I can say about it.

Just spent two relatively relaxing hours with a Liga Undercrown Maduro Corona Doble.
I've gotten back into cigars and have been trying to round up some more premium offerings locally, as I do like the price savings online but sampling is difficult. I did realize that I've always tried to rush through my cigars, and its amazing that I wasted all of the past cigars wondering why they were highly rated (although I have trouble believing lots of reviews) when they taste like hot burning. I wish to try more of the boutique stuff, but St. Louis seems to have lost some of the more stocked shops that I remember. |

Tonight, I am smoking turkey legs and baby back ribs.
After the dinner, during my own private firework show (out "patriotic" governor cancelled the Independent Day), I am going to smoke my Comcaho Liberty 2016. I am back, sort of.  Don't smoke much, only on occasions that work smoking, like today. Happy Independence Day Everybody, and Fuck the CCP Virus. |

Currently puffing on the Romeo y Julieta 1875 Reserva Real I’ve had sitting in my humidor for a few months. Needless to say it’ll become a regular. It’s a really nice, rather mild, pleasant smoke. Good for just now- capping off a shitty day at work with the dog by my side listening to the symphony of cicadas in the Alabama summer night.
