When's the last time you ate a salad?
|
Not even buying Russian ammo. So nope.

We will always have Feather.

Got my 45 on so I can rock on.
|
I'm currently using a batch a Rapira on your recommendation.
They're fine. I won't reorder. I'll go back to the Isreali Crystal blades |

Some face palms are forever
|
Nope

I've got maybe 80 Voshkod and 80 Astra's, with like 150 Israeli Gillette's. That'll hold me for a while. I've also got a bunch of straights and sharpening stones, so that'll hold me the rest of my life expectancy (and I can gift the straights, a few over 100 years old) to my next generation for satisfying shaving.

Feather or fuck off.

I have at least a thousand feathers in a dry box while I use up the gillettes. |

I bought a bunch of Voskhods during round 1 of the Russian sanctions in 2018 or 2019 and I still have a bunch, I only switch them out when I get bored with my Personna lab blues.
Honestly the best Russian blades I ever used were either the Wizamet or Polsilver super iridiums. |

Two 100-packs of Voskhods arrived today from Amazon.
Fight me. |

Still working on a 100 pack of Persona Blues. Made in USA. They work fine for me.

Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups.

I have a lifetime supply of Russian blades.

I bought 3 100 packs of Astra Platinums when that shit started.
Feather and Shark blades are rejected as tools of the devil, as I'm not into self mutilation. |

The stupid, it burns...
|
I really like the Kai blades.
made in Japan just like the feathers but are thicker and last longer. Just as sharp but smoother and can shave for two weeks on a blade. |
|
Will not shelter in place

I don’t think I can use all the blades I have.
When something is that cheap you know you’ll need you stack it deep. |

I’ve had better luck with the Rapira blades (made in Moscow) than any of the Gillettes made in St. Petersburg.
The Gillette 7:00 Black blades (made in India) have also been good. |

|
I panic bought a couple hundred at the first of the Ukraine thing.
ETA - I was going to leave it alone, but must add that I'm glad Feathers are so great for some. However, I get like one OK face and head shave with them before they go to crap. Not worth it for my razors, technique, skin, and dollar.... |

I'm fine w Wilkinson Sword and Dorco Red label
