The funny thing about my pyr, who was also a stray, is if she is in the house. She is constantly in protective mode, plane flies over, mail man or ups delivery she will bark her head off. Outside, on her lease, she's a 90# weiny. I was walking her one night, when a tree frog jumped on her snout, the freak out she had was epic. |

Our first cat was one my wife picked up on the side of the road. She was coming home from work one evening, and there was a little kitten in the road near our house. She stopped and got out and picked him up and put him on the side of the road to get him out of harm’s way. He followed her to her car. She put him back, and he followed her again. She said, “Well, I guess you’re coming with me, huh?”
She brought him home, and we kept him in the garage, as he was covered in fleas. He had a wound on the back of his neck, I guess from where a larger animal had bitten him. We gave him some milk and water, and he dove into it so hard. He was so hungry and thirsty. I got him some food and a litter box, and we took him to the vet the next day. They took care of the fleas and sewed up his wound. He was the best cat anyone could ever ask for, and he lived a long, happy life. I still miss him very much. He was our perfect little kitty. |
