like yours, she goes after things only if on her turf and can also hear a pin drop in the middle of the night. Best watch dog I ever had and the smallest Great Dane on the block. LOL She runs fast also, cornered a rabbit in the yard and since the rabbit was almost as big she didn't know what to do and walked away.

for attachment, she bonds to my wife for security in stormy weather and to me for play time. a awesome lap dog.

Deerhead Chihuahua description from the web.

The applehead and deer Chihuahua are not, strictly speaking, different types of Chihuahuas, different Chihuahua breeds or different Chihuahua mixes.

Despite being the original Chi, deer head Chihuahuas are not the "standard” Chihuahua recognized by the American Kennel Club (AKC).

A Chi is considered a deer head Chihuahua (it is sometimes also known as a reindeer Chihuahua), if does not have the characteristic apple shaped head.

The deer head Chihuahua will tend to have a sloped forehead, longer nose, a more pointed muzzle and jaw line, ears which reach out, and the shape of its head will generally resemble that of a young deer.

The deer head Chihuahua will also suffer from less health issues than the applehead.

This is more than likely because the applehead has been specifically bred with the intention of keeping it pure, where as the deer head has not.

ETA: now let me fix that IM setting since I'm missing out on all those 18 year olds! LOL

Do you know what that dog is made of.  I have one very similar.  It's a great alerter, can hear a pin drop across the street, but only notifies if the pin is dropped on his turf, follows directions most of the time.  Chihuahua like trait of attaching to one person but not retarded, tiny or fragile like a chihuahua.  It was a show up skinny at the gate one day dog.  His fast run is more long leaps.

My 4 year old got to shoot his Mk18 .22 clone for the first time yesterday. Before this, it had been the .22 bolt action so as you can tell he was quite tickled.

Shot in an introductory bench rest match Sunday. I don't have a bench rest rifle so I shot my service rifle legal AR15.

This rifle shoots 10 shot groups slightly over 1/2 inch at 100 yards.

You know, it's one thing to look at that on a computer screen, but I think it'd blow my mind to look through a telescope and see that.

not as impressive. our eyes are not able to see light that faint in color.

through the telescope, Orion has the shape you see in the bottom pic, but it is monochrome and if you look directly at it you can barely see it; you have see from the side of your eye by moving it around. Andromeda is the same. too faint to see any color, but you can see it even with good binoculars.

Yup. When looking at Andromeda the first time through my scope, it's impressive because you can barely fathom what you are seeing, how big it is, and how far away, and how long the light took to reach us....  But it looks like an eraser smudge in the sky through a scope.   Long exposures and such help bring out much more detail than we can see
