Merged into HDR in Adobe RAW since the HDR Pro plugin isn't working for some weird reason.

Fair enough, it was something that was brought up at the photo lecture I was at last night, so I figured I'd give it a try.  Honestly, especially given my ~7 year old computer, it's a huge pain in the ass IMO.  I'll use detail extractor on occasion, but never thought about mixing those three.  Thanks for the  heads up

Insomnia plus being sick as hell = me trying to do stuff to pass the time.  Considering it's my first 'serious' product photography shoot, I don't think I did too horribly.  Some things I can do better next time, but all in all, not bad.

The first rule of Flickr app is you do not talk about Flickr app.

But seriously, it's impossible to select the link URL on the app.  No select, no copy, no paste.  Flickr simply doesn't seem to care.

Yup, unless it's something specific, I save the full side image as a .psd with layers, then downsize to a 1366x911 (I think) 72dpi for web posting

Edit: It's the pixel count for the image.  The bigger they are and more dpi (dots per inch in print terms) the easier it is for someone to snag your image.  So in my case 72dpi means they're kinda stuck without being able to do much.

I resize my exports to 2500xwhatever to upload to Flickr, then use the 1600xwhatever size option in Flickr.  Trying to save everyone's bandwidth while still getting a pixel count high enough to make it wrthwhile.

A teaser and quick question.
1.  Apparently I need a new PC as it took ~20 minutes to crunch this pano.
2.  Do the colors look right to you guys?  It seems a bit blue to me, but fuck if I can get it to balance right.

Yeah, it's definitely on the blue side.  Then again, it is Air Force, so blue isn't all bad :)

Maybe bump the WB a bit to the right?

ETA Try some dehaze too; that background is just begging for more definition.

I'll pop it back in.  Didn't think about using the tankers as a grey card.

And that's 25 on dehaze already, I don't want to push it too hard, but I think I have a mask for just the mountains.

To keep this a photo thread though, I give you the inside of DOOM.    Yes, that's it's callsign.

I've been a mechanic my whole life and am infatuated with aircraft. Seeing shit like this makes me gladly go back to hammering and torching on big rigs.
