Currently you can get $100 off a full size or compact APX-A1 and $50 off the carry (rebates end 3/31).

Cabelas has the APX Full-size with a Burris fast fire 3 red dot for $550 and the carry with the same red dot for $400

https://www.cabelas.com/shop/en/beretta-apx-a1-full-size-semi-auto-pistol-with-burris-fastfire-3-red-dot-sight

https://www.cabelas.com/shop/en/beretta-apx-a1-carry-semi-auto-pistol-with-burris-fastfire-3-red-dot-optic

Might be able to get the firearms cheaper, I didn't check gun.deals.

Looks like PSA's easter deal is without the red dot.

Rebate and red dot won't make up for the trigger.

There's a reason they are practically giving them away.

Exactly the kind of feedback I was looking for.

I thought they had fixed a lot of the original APX carry trigger problems when they came out with the current A1 version?

I have an A1.  Trigger is fine, about average for a striker gun.

Did they discontinue the full size APX A1 Tactical already?

@StillGonnaSendIt

Looks like it's still available.

hey Fellas

just make sure you're not getting confused.  Beretta didn't make it easy when they launched these calling them ALL the APX A1 model.  pretty dumb IMO.

the APX A1 Carry is a 'micro' 9mm single stack.  not well-regarded for its trigger

https://www.beretta.com/en-us/product/apx-a1-carry-FA0052

there are ALSO the APX A1 Full size -- double stack 9mm similar size to Glock 17

https://www.beretta.com/en-us/product/apx-a1-full-size-FA0055

and the APX A1 Compact (formerly known as the Centurion) double-stack 9mm similar size to Glock 19

https://www.beretta.com/en-us/product/apx-a1-compact-FA0053

The Full-size and Compact (formerly Centurion) ARE definitely worth taking a look at if you're interested in something other than a Glock.

The trigger is fine. Not great, not terrible. It’s better than a Glock gen 3 trigger pull.
ETA- referring to the double stack, not the “Carry”

agree -- for a striker fire -- i think the Full size / Compact (double stacks) are in the higher end of 'decent trigger' a little lighter than 'stock Glock' and crisper / less 'spongy'

i have never shot their Micro 9 'carry' -- but have read the trigger is not great (as mentioned above) -- but no personal experience

Erroneous.

The trigger a typical striker-fired / staple gun. There’s better and there’s worse.

I bought one a few weeks ago from PSA. It’s a really nice gun.

Slight correction - There are 3 sizes of double stack apx - full size, centurion, and compact. These are great pistols. The fullsize has 17 or 21rd mags, centurion uses 15rd, the compact also uses 13rd mags. Beretta I guess decided to discontinue the real compact version with the a1 redesign- and changed the name of the centurion to the a1 compact - which uses 15rd mags. You can still buy a new, real 13rd compact grip frame and factory mags if one wants the shorter grip fyi

The apx single stack is a beretta nano with a facelift- not great, but not horrible pistols either. They are small and fit that role.
