- water resistant - wind resistant - 7oz - come in a billion camo colors - packs in itself I leave mine in my truck. It fits right in to the door cupholder area. Oh quick rain storm? Let me just grab my British friend.

Thanks, OP. I've been wanting a wind shirt and that looks perfect. Just ordered one from across the pond. With shipping, it came out to 56.75 GBP, about $70.94 American, which is still cheaper than most other options I've looked at.

@WhiskersTheCat have you tried looking at it thru nods?
I would love to know if it glows neon, or if the camo pattern is present. I emailed them asking a while back and never got a reply. So purchased the varusteleka version instead (sarma wind jacket). It was slightly more expensive and less camo options; but is a very versatile layer to add over a loft jacket, or under a smock. |

I am a schitzo but you guys might be getting a little too schitzo.
This isn't tactical one billion hide from drones It's legit just a small lightweight jacket that keeps you from getting rained on, with some wind protection. That's it. That's what this is. Add the fact it has cool camo colors and that's the end of the conversation |

Varusteleka has a whole line of NIR complient products, if you search the site for NIR and look thru these are a good start. They do free shipping to the US if you spend over $200, and shipping seems to take just over a week. They also have the best sizing info for working out foreign sizes.
Lots of modern euro surplus is compliant. I've had sucess with British, french and german surplus. Ebay has random items, I've also purchased from gomilitar, a Lithuania surplus store that has ebay and etsy store fronts (for added security). I got a British gortex pants and coat for less than $100, but their stocks in useful sizes are running low. And been in storage they needed to be washed in techwash to get rid of the smell. Non-surplus US made seems hit and miss. Some manufacturers state something, some don't. I've had sucess with mystery ranch, their military line should be good to go. Multicam (or whatever its called these days) from a good company is more likely to be good to go. Rit dyes don't seem to have any ir pigment. So you can dye surplus acu items (that are available for cheap) to get a more useful normal light colors, but keep the ir camo intact. On items, elastic fabrics are often bright. Zippers can suck, though these can oftern be judged from pics as they look shiny in normal light. Buckles are hit or miss, but can often be removed and replaced by the repair buckles from better brands. Velcro and Cordura strapping is often bright or dark. But black sharpie appears black under nods, so if you don't mind a slightly grubby looking appearance you can darken straps with a very light application of marker (the other colors i've tried don't show up under nods). Anything with hiviz is terrible, check hiking boots as they often have shiny labels or laces. But I am probably been pedantic in toning down the brighter colors to a more muted shade. But it has helped me not just purchase too much stuff. |

Ok @WhiskersTheCat - my A192 made it to the house today shipped direct from the UK. Officially labeled as “paintball clothing” on the customs form
and included a branded face mask in the package . Not surprised the Irish DPM was on sale since it has a manufacture date of 2021. Seems like a decent buy and will work for what I was looking for. Thanks for the recommendation.

I recently bought a combat smock from them and Ive been using it as a shell for dual sport riding. It's a pretty nice piece of gear I recommend. They have above average selection of camos.
Edited to add I wore it in an absolute downpour and couldn't believe how good a nylon cotton blend shed water. I guess the brits know rain. |
