He was in excruciating pain for a very long time. He reached out in a religious thread once. We ended up talking a couple times.
I was moved by several things from our conversations. He loved his wife and children deeply. He held on as long as he could to be with them as long as possible.

37 was way to young for a such a good man, but I know there is relief from the pain for him.I hope the family reads this, they should know that even in short conversations, he was very open about his love for them.

Not to be materialistic, but I hope some of those things gave him a bit of joy on his journey to the end.
