All 4 are great looking bikes.  My first bike was a Honda CB360 and would love to have it back.  My second was a 1985 Kawasaki Ninja 600r which I bought brand new. I'm old, hence the Harley. lol

What year is that Paul Smart?

Those are sweet bikes. I used to have a Yamaha XT250 with a rack on the back (which is a little different, obviously ).

Ness Victory Vegas, dyno'd 145hp at the rear wheel, naturally aspirated.

Victory Vegas 8-ball, belt driven supercharged on E85, 180hp at the rear wheel.

1987 FZR1000 on Nitrous.  I bought it new.  Ran 123mph in the 1/8 mile in 1988.  That's an 1/8 mile, not a quarter...with no wheelie bar.  I still have it.

Low performance Indian Road Master.

Tony

Sweet bike!

@BoiseG
2006

It's the only year they made it. Limited edition. Not many left.  Lots went straight to museums, personal collections, or the racetrack (lightweight class).
Some have been totaled or parted out.  They are appreciating in value for sure.

Ducati modeled it after the 1972 Imola winning bike.  Paul Smart was the rider.

The 1974 Green Frame Sport 750 came out after that, and the rest is history!

Somedays 16 hp is all you need, but other days take 10x that, it's great to have choices.

Nice, I like the XT250 and the CT125, both quite affordable, but I think there is currently a 4 year wait list for the CT125 locally.

Current rides are the 1975 Norton 850 Commando and the 1976 Triumph T140V 750 Bonneville. The 2004 Yamaha FJR1300 just left the stable, as did the 1986 Kawasaki Concours 1000. I have a 1972 Norton 750 Combat Commando in the process of restoration and a pair of Honda 750 Shadow ACE cruisers, which I anticipate donating this spring.Attachment Attached File

Rode this 70 miles in the AZ desert today, with three riders faster than me. It's nice to be able to somewhat keep up for a change!!

FZR1000 JATO Rocket Bike.  Equipped with a Canadian Bristol AeroJet solid fuel rocket motor.  350 pounds of thrust, for a 12 second burn.  There is no way to shut it off, once it's lit.
With the rocket installed, it was difficult to ride around.  The seat height was really tall and the center of gravity was way up there.  Handling sucked.

Tony

ETA: I never lit the rocket.  Eventually the San Luis Obispo, California bomb squad came and disposed of all the rockets we had on hand at the time.  That was around 1989.
One of them was fired off the cliffs of Pirates Cove nudist beach, like a bottle rocket in 1984.  That one was never to be seen again.
