Firstly, fuck cancer. What a wanker of a disease!
Secondly, dibs already made on what I've got in the safe, so all you vultures can feck off
Thirdly, it's stomach to bowel. Plan is, it gets chopped out and I get replumbed. Job done. Hopefully on butchers block mid April.
Lastly, no negative wages in this thread Moriarty

Fucker came knocking at my door (well, technically my backdoor) about 3 years ago. I did something similar to what you're facing; chop-chop, poop in a bag for a bit, then reconnect the plumbing. For as bad as it sounds, you'll be surprised how quickly you pull right through this. You've got it; just maintain your sense of humor and be sure to flirt shamelessly with the nurses in recovery. They love it. 😉

I'm reading it now, since a close family member had/has a liver cancer scare.

The author is not a doctor, but just some guy who did a ton of personal research to try to save his wife from dying.  She succumbed, unfortunately.

I find it intriguing, since there appears to be a lot of useful information collated in one place.

Some other people I would recommend doing a deep-dive on are Dr. Thomas Seyfried (phd), Dr. Peter Attia (MD), and Dr. Robert Lustig (MD).

Based on what all of these guys are saying, the relationship between glucose, insulin and cancer should not be understated.

The survival rates for cancer are not particularly good in the U.S. - not by world standards.  I think that our out-of-control obesity, blood sugar and insulin levels play no small part in that.

You’ll do fine
I’m 6 years out from stage 3c colon cancer….cut me from just below the belt line to the bottom of the ribcage took 45% of my colon, 12 inches of small intestine, appendix, 27 lymph nodes ( 9 were  cancerous ), 6weeks later got a port put in 4 weeks later started 6 months of chemo…..I’m in better physical shape than before and have got back most of what I had to sell off to get through

Life is good

Best advice I can give is look at it as beating cancer not surviving it

Oh and I don’t know how you’re wired mentally but I would say stay away from the support groups, they’re negative
