Agreed. I think that the early 90's F-150 and F-250 pickups look the best.

ETA, these:

Too bad those rear wheel wells will rust through if you drive through a puddle.

Modern CUV/Crossover styling is horrible. Most cars are ugly now.

On the plus side, anything that isn't totally hideous stands out, lol.

Both the 07-13 and K2 pickups rust worse and faster than GMT400s and 800s. And they're fucking ugly without the rust.

I like modern Charger aesthetics. Challengers havent really changed Id argue. 90s mustangs were not peak. 05 and newer look better than that. I tend to agree when it comes to American trucks though.

I prefer mid 60s/early 70s F150s but dislike the safety aspects (or lack of) of older vehicles compared to current ones.
I'm sure most have seen this video

I grew up with dad driving full size Broncos and my first when I got my license was dad's 87 Eddie Bauer 351W

I remember shutting the hood had the force and sound of a nuclear blast door closing

Eta late 2000s my dad offered to give me his 88 XLT that had a fresh reman EFI 302 and C6 in it... I said I had too many projects going on, I already had a Jeep, no thanks dad... what a fuck up

That particular body style and generation will always hold a special place in my heart!

My ex-FIL had one as a repo truck and i ran repo’s with for about a year.

It had a hideaway boom in the bed that folded out.

It was awesome, but i still had to jump out to attach the J hooks, and sometime the device to jack a tire on to caster wheels, obviously the nMe escapes me at the moment….

Miss the rush, but it is easier with the grab and go systems.

My soon to be pillaged 96 GMC Suburban was pretty nice for its day. The refresh in 2001 is peak Suburban.

Modern cars just straight got hit with the ugly dumbass stick.

In that era, people were saying the same things. They were nostalgic for fins and chrome.

I think the 60s were peak styling, but a case can easily be made for earlier decades, too. It's hard to deny the absolute class of something like a Delahaye, Cord, or Dusenburg, or the jet-age finned 50s beasts.

I'll take #4 with #2's Duvall windshield . To go with that I'll take a VR8 under the hood and a manual transmission.

The 69-72 Chevy pickup was peak styling for pickups.  Short bed 4WD, specifically.
