Had a CT scan this afternoon, Doc who looked at the results strongly suggested emergency surgery consultation. I don't know if anything is happening tonight.
Per chart: Obstructive hydrocephalus secondary to cerebellar/caudal fourth ventricle mass as described above. Urgent/emergent surgical consultation is recommended. Contrast enhanced MRI brain exam is recommended to further characterize the mass. I have a ton of support, just wanted the faithful to know. |

I can't efficiently tell you'll individually how much I appreciate your prayers. I know not everyone here is a Christian, but I am. For the infidels, I appreciate your thoughts and support.
Some may know I'm a hospice chaplain, it's a good work. Tell your family you love them and don't be shitty to those who are in your care. |

I’ve probably had more than a dozen patients over the years with similar presentations. Came in with head aches and vision changes. Typically I send to ER but rarely immediately life threatening. I’m fairly sure every one of them is still kicking. Modern medicine can fix a lot. Best wishes OP]
