Lakeland, FL, of all places.
Vienna beef, fresh relish… the works. Amazing. Dog served with fries and no gun violence. Incredible. Now it’s time to talk about the best hot dogs you’ve ever eaten. ETA: Decisions Bar and Grill. Edgewood. Ask for the Chicago dog. Everything on it. |

I was told Floridians had violence everywhere since it was the gun shine state

Haven’t had one in years (not sure the place is still open) but the chili cheese dog with mustard and onions from the Vienna Inn in NOVA is my all time favorite.

Now stop, hammer time.

I’d come out and join ya but it’s been a heavy day. Buddy drove which means I wasn’t on my Harley so I got slightly tuned up. |

We had a great little restaurant called Chitown out by the lake that did Chicago Vienna dogs and Italian beef sandwiches but it burned down…

The best I’ve had was from a faggy hot dog shop in Florence, AL. It’s connected to a bar in a college town, so it’s pretty much always busy. The employees are all your average liberal arts and look like it too. They make a hell of a dog though.

Kaspers Hot Dogs in Oakland California! Comes with a good dose of "The Hood" with your hotdog.
Caspers is separate but still good. Pampered Pup in Alameda California a close second. None better |

Enjoying a Seattle dog at midnight from a street vendor as you watch a SPD bike-cop revive a passed out bum you walked by earlier to get there is pretty damn good.

Chicago dog question....never had one, but WTF is with that glowing green relish? Never seen relish that color in my life. It looks fake or radioactive.

Icelandic hotdogs are pretty dang tasty. There are a couple of vendors who are well known. I went for sweet mustard, crispy fried onions, and a local orange soda.
