Bro I have half a can of cope in mouth at any given time

Edit - if we're being technical, I love Taylor's pride chew and haven't had it in years

Edit 2x - OP was a homo and kept swapping chew and dip in his sentences

Title says chew.  Poll says dip.  I've done both.  Quit 12 years ago.

I used to love a good chew of Red Man or plug of Levi Garret when I'd be outside. I still have a pouch of RM in the fridge. I haven't chewed in
10 years. Probably longer.
I need to go out and try it. I sure miss it.

Same. Dipping makes me nauseous.

Never tried it or iqmiq.

Cigars for me and a very rare cigarette if offered.

Lol I didn't know there was a difference. Had to search it on brave. Now I know...

Anyways I did Skoal mint pouches once. I threw up shortly after.

I used Skoal back in the day.  Not a lot, but a can a week or so.

Got into it in high school as the spitting helped with cutting weight for wrestling.  At least that’s what we told ourselves.

Once - a SKOAL Bandit in 9th grade English class
because a bully said I was scared to try it.

Did Bandits ever count as dip?

I swallowed it when the teacher tried to catch me.

What’s the over under on all those who voted “a lot” were current/former military?

Went from cigarettes to dip to chew. Now I only smoke cigars, but only when it’s nice outside.  I do miss Red Man Golden Blend.  Man that was good stuff.

Quit 4 years ago.

If there was no possibility of mouth cancer I’d still do it.

Maybe when I’m 70 or so I’ll start again

As far as nicotine goes, Copenhagen rules the roost. When I stopped dipping, I had to smoke multiple Camel Wides to approach the nicotine dose. Even Marley Reds didn't do the trick.

When I was in the Navy, we couldn't smoke while refueling. Sometimes it took hours when pier side. So I'd get a Red Man. I stopped tobacco in 1988.

Dipped for a few years, then chewed for a few.  Quit cold turkey in April of 2012, and have never looked back.

This stuff has helped me a ton

Walgreens and Casey gas stations usually carry. Just be sure to check the expiration date on the back to make sure you aint getting some old shit

For me the habit has more of a hold on me than the nicotine

Ahhh, Beech-Nut! I loved that stuff too. Had a nice sweet taste, like maple or something.

Used to, a lot. On and off for decades.

My dentist convinced me to quit, years ago

I won't start again. Maybe if the apocalypse or a civil war happens.

Briefly.

I was a smoker and our Company Commander banned smoking in the field back in the 80s to the point they would physically check us for smokes before we rolled out. I used to hide Beech Nut or Redman in the buttstock of my A2 where the cleaning kit went, so I could get my nicotine fix when I needed one.

After a while I realized he wasn't out sniffing around for smokers, so I took the 2 piece plastic cigarette case they gave us in Boot Camp, covered it in Camo Duct tape and attached an ALICE clip to it. I clipped it between my mag pouch and an E-Tool. It just looked like it belonged there. I could sneak a pack to the field and have a smoke at night.

Couldn't stand Copenhagen or Skoal.

In college my buddies called me "permadip"     Finally decided to not die by my own hand and quite the habit.   Hardest thing I have ever done.   Do miss it.

I will partake!

I used to could dip, literally 24/7 but I dropped that habit cold turkey in January. Picked up a new one though…

Once or twice, but I don’t like it near as much as just plain  broadleaf tobacco. I can still buy a plug here in my small rural town and a lot of younger people have never seen one.
I have a pouch of Redman about 5 feet from right now.

Mint Skoal, 6th grade on a skateboard. Was told not to swallow and remember focusing on spitting. Got violently ill. For the best.

Took me a long time to ever stop saving an empty bottle. You took a dip out throw another in not for the nicotine but because it was supposed to be there.

Good luck man. I think it took me ~25 years to finally quit for good. I'd still be enjoying my copenhagen right now if it weren't for the fact that it suddenly started giving me  pancreatitis. It's been about 5 yrs now and I still really miss it.

Lol, my wife just realized I had a dip in during our wedding photos a few months back (married 8 years ago). I don't think I ever didn't have one in unless I was eating or sleeping and that wasn't a hard rule...
