For water line shut off valves.

I don't know if I want to learn how to solder modern low lead bronze valve bodies.  And maybe I imagine it's a worst experience than reality.

The lines are 1/2 inch and 3/4th's inch.  Supply to my bathrooms and laundry room.

I have seen Brass craft and Nibco in the local big box stores.  I have not checked a plumbing supply house, but there is about 6 miles away.

I planned to install 1/4 turn valves.  I need 9 in order to isolate every room.  The half bath, laundry, and garage share two lines, the hall bath is laid out so 5 valves are needed, and two are needed for the master bath.  I need the valves on the master bath first for a remodel, then the hall bath.

Too much fun.  I hate that master bath.

These valves will be installed overhead in the basement to control the water to the rooms.  There are valves in the vanity for both sinks, only the shutoff at the wall for the toilet, and I can't see the shower mixer valve to determine whether it has shutoff screws.  That doesn't matter anyway, the supply needs to be shut so the shower can be torn out and I don't want to shut it off at the well or the water heater.

House builders should tie the toilet supply line to a vanity valve so the leaky valve at the wall can be changed without affecting the rest of the house.

The lines to the hall bath come off of the main supply after the water heater and an individual line is run to each fixture.  Five lines to isolate that room.
