Text of ban here. It essentially turns them into MGs. You’ve got a year to register them as Destructive Devices and then limits transfer solely to what’s on the registry. No new ones can be added after the year amnesty period. Separately, it also establishes multiple purchase reporting for all firearms. TX and FL guys, please punish these idiot legislators at the polls.

What ever happened to the ruling for 50 BMG uppers? The ones that go atop an AR lower.
I vaguely remember talk from the ATF making them actual firearms, but don't recall an outcome. |
