Why, yes, yes, I can.

I believe that there is no such thing as innate knowledge, and that all knowledge is gained by experience.

I don't believe that the hypothetical is equal to the observable.

I think reality is immutable.

So you experienced the past 250 years of American HIstory?

At this point I think you are trolling, but I can't be sure.

I experienced the derivatives of others experiences.  Much the same way I see the beautiful dank memes in this thread. You are trying very hard to turn reality into a hypothetical in order to suit your contention.

Ok Ok, Sylvan.

Lets go back to a question that you asked earlier in this thread.

You asked a question to the effect of:

If you walk past a tree,  until you are out of sight of it, you must think the tree is gone because your senses can longer perceive it?

I would first have to see a tree disappear to expect disappearing trees.

Having never seen such a thing, all experience leads to the assumption that the tree is exactly where I last saw it.

If you were to walk up to me, and ask, how is that tree you walked past, that we can longer see.

I would say, it was in the condition in which I last saw it, and in the place where I last saw it.

The tree could have fallen, the tree could have lost a limb, or it could be tap dancing.

but in accord with my  experience, and the derivatives of experience that I have come in contact with over my life, with my senses, I am led to assume the tree is in the same condition in which I left it.

Now:

If you were a norseman pagan, and the tree had a crow in it, you might tell me That Odin is sending us a Omen.

Having never met Odin, and skeptical of the idea of a tree of life, I am apt to just figure it is a crow wanting to eat acorns.

That does not mean that I think that norseman pagan you has a lesser quality perception or ability to experience reality. We are equal in that regard.

The only difference is, I wont ascribe to magic, what isn't.

Because it is stupid, and all ideologues do it.

They believe in stupid things, despite all experience to the contrary.

so you believe in things you wish to believe in and don't believe in things you don't wish to believe in.

Thats cool.

But that is not empiricism.

Actually just the opposite, things are what they are and nothing will change it, especially not my belief or lack of it.

All ideologues regardless of philosophy believe that they can change nature in ways that diverge from all past experience, to suit their goals, and when they fail, they insist that their failing was due to something other than their own conceit to attempt.

And this brings us to why I am a libertine.

I am a libertine because I believe that when people are decentralized, and there are a multiplicity of of small diverse groups with their own ways, means, and authority, so that if one fails, they do not all fail together, we are safest.

I believe that each town county and state should have it's own rules and regulations. The less centralized political power is, the less chance it has to kill the whole.

And I can hear you now, Sylvan, libertine means you wanna fuck a goat in the town square.

No, libertine means absolute awareness of heteronomy as a force in society, and rejecting it as a centralizing dialectic of idolaters(ideologues).

Gentlemen.  I think I understand the Will of Kek.  He gave France to the Muslims not to punish us, but to give us the opportunity to Deus Vult.  Obviously Kek had to use meme magic to save Britain and America, because you need people to do the Deus Vulting.  But you also need a place to Deus Vult, and that place is France.  We shall conquer France, and at the Second Battle of Tours, we shall Deus Vult!

For anyone wondering about the Sudden rash of "Risen" Pepes, it is because the guy who created  the comic strip with Pepe "killed" him off.

But like Rooster, he ain't gonna die.
