Any best guesses as to what this car is on a property I just bought?   Didn't see it until I uploaded some drone shots to look at, its cropped heavily from a much larger pic.   Also its 4 hours away so I won't be back to look at it for a week or two.   So consider this a safe thread, but I will deliver, eventually.   My best guess is something from the 50s.

There is another old car on the lot, which is funny to me since this land is in the middle of nowhere and no one has ever lived on the 30 acre parcel.

Pics of second car from page 2

Found the pics of the second car.   So here is your chance at a bonus round.  I'm guessing 1920-30s

56 bel air was my real guess, but this is still page 1

If it is a shoebox Chevy, it looks like there is a hood ornament so that would be a '56.

49-54 something,  not enough chrome to be a Buick but it has that swoop trim pattern.

Pretty sure it's a Bel Air from the 50s also.

The hood doesn't look right for a 55 - 57 Chevy.
Maybe a 54 maybe.  I dont think those had the hood ornamentation yet.

Possibly a ford of that era.

I dont know about chryslers  - they had a fairly decorated hood

Could be a Nash but probably not.  Only the ramblers were small

You cant hold us in suspense for 2 weeks of a month.   You need to go there this weekend.

Has a lot of the hints of a '55 Chevy but with that quality of pic there's no way to know.

You could have the local LEO run a VIN check. It could be stolen and dumped years ago. In some instances, they just close the case and you can part it out.

The hood us unbolted and is just sitting there.

1955 chevy's have a hood bird and straight trim all the way down the side. The shape of the rear door window opening screams 55.

That said, the 55 pontiac shared doors and a cab area with the chevy but the trim was different on the sides.

I’ve had a similar situation.

Bought a few acres in north east Michigan from the grandparents that have had the property for a long time.

There were about 6-8 cars in the woods/ferns that they never knew they were there.  One is a 1940 ford coupe with a 1953 license plate.
