We just had a long duration X2.2 this morning with a confirmed full halo CME, so that is number 4 coming now. Subscribed to the channel. It was a bit hectic at work as I am in the drone industry. Yesterday the flare hit at noon in AZ, and Atmospheric Scintillation caused some GPS outages for a short period during the peak, and we had to ground some aircraft. Shit always happens on a Friday. Just need to get through this week, going to be busy as hell with Drone issues.

Another one just now, X3.98. Hopefully that bastard of a sunspot (3664) has turned out far enough for any CME to just be a glancing blow. Davidson said it now looks like 5 CME impacts are onboard from analysis of the last X-class from yesterday.

Yesterday afternoon there was a break in the clouds long enough for that I could get a loook at the sun thru my left over eclipse glasses. I had no problem seeing this monster sunspot.
