Looks vaguely similar to the South African design that has a black spear stabbing into the legacy colonial stripes. The trans movement co-opted this idea, where their flag has the "spear" design comprised of the freak gender extended universe, stabbing into the traditional gay pride flag from the left. Now minnesota is vaguely reminiscent of somalia with some added sideways triangle designs going on
