Saw this number on Cults3D, but I honestly recall downloading one that I can't find amidst my files for free somewhere...maybe it's no longer available.


Anyone have a file of this, or different design uploaded elsewhere?

It is kind of neat looking.   But how long would it hold up to the heat of a hot barrel?   I would lean towards "I doubt it".  

I'm thinking of putting it up on my HBAR's A2 FSB for my LSW clone build (almost done btw ). This is one of my last remaining items, I was planning to cleave the picatinny rail from the surface in the file, 3DP in PA6 and cut up a Sarco project rail to use the as the rails, since that model is 5-slotted, and LSW builds featured 7-slotted tri-rails. Wasn't planning on mounting anything to it to actually hold weight, so with an HBAR, aluminum tape on the exposed barrel surface between the FSB's legs, and heat-resistive polymer, I think it would certainly hold-up, even under extended fire conditions.

That's because it's designed for airsoft.
