Hello, I am looking for a good book or books on the history and development of the M16/M4. I am particularly interested in the Arctic testing and attempted sabotage by the Ordnance Corps. Thank you.

It looks like the books by Stevens and Hughes are, unfortunately, discontinued. Both can be found but at a high price. I will look into the books by Ezell and Orkand. I found a thesis written by Dallas T Durham for the Command and General Staff College. While I have just started reading, he states he sites The Black Rifle and The M16 Controversies extensively. |
