Meaning Executive Order 13990 had no effect on our current economy? Is this an attempt at humor? If so what is the punch line? Executive orders can have a small localized effect. Obviously, Wars can have an effect. But typically, the President has little immediate effect on the macro economy. Any changes they make, don’t become apparent until years later. For some reason, people have an innate “KING” or “Messiah” mentality, where everything Good, or Bad, is ascribed to the dear leader. I think it’s genetically hard wired. Our brains crave simplicity. BTW, Our own OIL SME has said that the keystone pipeline wasn’t important to today’s international oil trading world. We are getting A Lot of oil from Guyana, and will continue to for the future. |

They move to other states because they can't afford to stay in the paradise they voted for but refuse to acknowledge the failed policies that forced them to move. Instead they double down on the information warfare as they turn the new home into the same shit hole as before while thumbing their noses at the locals for calling them out for it. |

It seems like wages are up a good bit for lower earners - like finding $20+ an hour isn't exactly difficult for someone who was making $12/hr not that long ago. So sure, their earnings are up well above the headline inflation figures but they're so utterly fucked when it comes to housing that I doubt they care if groceries are 4% of their budget now instead of 5%.
On the other end of the spectrum, plenty of mid career earners are not seeing wages increase at the rate of inflation, and are seeing a modest reduction in QoL / how far their money goes. The big caveat will be that people who bought houses 5+ years ago are doing 'okay' but still feeling the pinch. |

Some of that may have happened under Trump, but he certainly didn’t have the power to do it on his own. You should break out of the libtard plantation for a few hours, and really look into what happened. I’m annoyed with Trump for not being a fiscal conservative, but I highly doubt he could have prevented that. It’s a terrible thing which happened. Blaming only Trump, is the all time height of willful ignorance. |
