I feel sorry for people who never got to try Gatorade before the brominated vegetable oil ban. Same for pop too, but man Gatorade from a glass bottle with BV’s in it was the most crisp and refreshing drink ever.

The best Gatorade flavor ever was Black Cherry they had back in late 1990s/early 2000s. I can't find a photo of it online, or even a mention of it. But it existed. And it was fucking awesome. Maybe the name was something other than Black Cherry? That was the flavor though. You could only get it in the dildo bottles like this, and it was so dark red it was almost black.  Similar in color to this new limited edition flavor they just came out with, but not quite as dark.

I think they changed the mixture for orange.
The light blue (frost) seems to be my backup due to that change. Any time I find Gatorade taste quite good; I check my temp because only when running a fever that stuff taste fantastic. Old orange Frost Fruit punch New style orange I only do the powder version because I cut back the powdered mixture by 50%. |
