That sucks. I had the opportunity to speak with him about 10 years ago. I wish his family well, his early works had a significant impact on my decision to join the combat arms branch.

RIP.
One of the founders of hard style Military Science Fiction. His stuff always had a weight to it that other authors don't convey. Guns got blisteringly hot, recoil left bruises on cheeks and muzzle blast was earsplitting. |
