I can’t find any type of forum that discusses boats or boatlifts so I’m asking here. I have a JetSki lift. It’s got a remote panel (gem remotes) and it has an auto run button. As it is now, I have to hold down the down and up buttons for it to move down or up. Is there a way to get that auto run function to work? When I press it, it just doesn’t do anything. My remote has three buttons, down, up and stop so I should be able to do the auto run. Any help would be appreciated.

I did some googling last week for my Hi-Tide boat lift remote. Started acting up.  Thought the up button was going bad. Discovered a new remote is $200. Changed the 9V battery and all is good.  What’s up with 9V batteries lately?  I changed it last fall. Previous battery was in the remote when we bought the house 2 years ago.  This one didn’t last a year.
