federal judge ruled Tuesday."

I don't think such laws will stand up under further federal scrutiny.  They haven't so far and state laws cannot trump federal laws but they keep trying!

Because no state has dug in their heels and forced the issue. There are plenty of cases of State laws going against federal law, literally giant middle fingers, and standing the test of time. Interstate commerce has a lot to do with it.

Something about the 10th amendment tells me this should be appealed all the way

Funny, for the last five or more years the states have ignored immigration laws, an area which is exclusively the province of the feral government.  It's positioned in a way that no one wants to or has standing to object to what the states are doing, least of all the feral government.

Tennessee recently passed a law that SBS or SBR guns would no longer be considered illegal by any TN law enforcement officers.

But if a Fed. sees your gun...

Hey, states are ignoring federal marijuana laws, immigration laws, maybe it's time for a change.

Just look at the states that allow marijuana challenging federal laws.  If they want to do it, they do it.

The BATFE has made it pretty clear that state laws which seek to exempt certain firearms from the NFA ain't gonna work and I sure wouldn't like to tangle with them over the matter.

Them folks ain;t got no sense of humour!

Federal Law has always trumped State Law. State Law has always trumped County and City Law.

The Constitution is supposed to be the law of the land.

There is nothing wrong with this system, IF the Constitution is followed.

Yes, but if the law is void at the state level, what authority do state level LE have to prosecute?

The FedJudge is saying that State LE have a duty to prosecute crimes that aren’t crimes under their authority

That in itself is clown world
