Damn. Sorry to hear that.

Parvo sucks. We lost a dog after two days and then spent 2k fighting it with our next rescue who did make it through. Bailey is now 5 years old and healthy as heck. She is a bit clingy but thats not a bad thing

I'll have to post up some pictures of my three when I get home this afternoon...

We started with a Shih-Tzu when we got to HI who is now three and disabled (degen. disc disease, mild paralysis in rear legs, get's around in a Ruff Rollin' rear support wheel chair).  We adopted a Min Pin who just turned one year old and a terrier mix who just turned one year old.

Puca on a one day 23 mile hike. After 23 miles you'd think he would be tired. He spent the next 2 hours after we got home running around the back yard barking at a tree and his arch nemesis, Squirel D. Nutsalot.

Here is Bunker. She's almost 11 years old and is a weiner dog. She just started having back problems and could barely use her back legs. She's needs to be crated for a couple more weeks and is doing therapy. She can walk about 85% now. I've had her since I was in middle school. (hope the pics work, first time doing it)

We think he's a mix of Aussie shepherd and some type of terrier. Those are coon tracks, there's a ton of them on this piece of property.

Hang in there.  They can get to be WAY older than 11.  If you haven't already, keep her from attempting to jump up or down from furniture.
Mine has a ramp.  Took her two weeks to figure how to use it.

Meet Piko. She's a 6 year old Jack Russell. She was not born with it, but believe it or not, she is blind. I think the most she can see are shadows. To most, she would have been put down. To us, however, she's keeper. She plays on her own and knows the layout of the house and backyard that she doesn't seem to have problem navigating around.
