Which coincidentally ties in to the last time I gave a shit about that sport.

The UFC has chewed up and shit out the sport of boxing.

True. There is no comparison between MMA and boxing now. You are correct. The UFC model puts the best fighters in against the best fighters, all the time. Very few east fights. Boxing is a soap opera. MMA became my favorite sport around 2007. Replacing boxing and football.

Floyd Mayweather Jr. Best boxer to ever fight by a mile.

But in all seriousness,  and all full of bullshitness aside Mike Tyson was my favorite,  Joe Frazier a close second.

Really difficult for me,,,all around boxer, puncher, strength Sugar Ray Leonard. the era he fought in was the greatest of all time, Marvin Hagler, Tommy Hearns, Alexis Arguello, John the Beast Mugabe, Wilfredo Benitez, Roberto Duran, there will never be another time in history like that

^^^This guy or Marco Antonio Barrera. Mainly because he destroyed Naz's career, his wars with Morales and because of that left hook underneath. I like anyone with a left hook of death, honestly. Frazier, Roy Jones Jr., JCC, Oscar DLH, Trinidad. Anyone but Tua, he still sucks. Mexicans make the best fighters.

ETA: I knew the UFC tards would show up before we even got 10 posts in.

Hearns cut him. He said nope not now. And knocked Hearns RTFO. On his back.

Then I was all in.

Then he got screwed in the Pussy Ray Leonard decision.  Then I knew boxing was fixed. And I was out.

The game is a mess.

Buddy Baer knocked Joe Lewis out of the ring back in 41...had he not screwed around showboating he might have beaten Lewis but he did not answer the call in the 7th round.
Got into a bad car accident prior to his rematch...Lewis knocked him out in round 1. ending Buddy's career.
