checked the loganville ga walmart today,, they had one , called a sport for 897$,, must resist

Luckily none of the walmarts near me have the 308 - I dont need one BUT seriously think for that price it may go home with me if i found one.

Well, at least DPMS = made in USA, no chinese crap. That is a good price. I hope the rig has chromed chamber and bbl, and extended ramps.

Which begs the question "How in the name of all that is Holy did my "look at my new Not an AR-10" thread become a Larry's gonna get you" thread.

Seriously, it's a .308 chambered AR style rifle...and I failed to do my homework and realize that since it's not an Armalite it can't be an AR-10...but I really don't need a spanking...I've learned my lesson!

I'm missing the 'L' and having a $897 DPMS AR10.

The local gunsmyth's brother is an engineer that works for DPMS. The story I was told by him was that DPMS deliberately changed the design on their upper so that it won't fit on a 'true' AR10 because they got tired of AR10 owners buying DPMS uppers then talking smack about DPMS.

Luckily for me i didnt have to make a decision on whether to buy a DPMS 308 - none of the 6 walmarts I been by lately had any in stock LOL

Can you use a RRA 2 stage trigger in a 308 DPMS?
