I shot my recurve with my FIL today entirely too much. Vur sore.  Duckski got a new shotgun and spent all day shooting it. A Beretta R300. But yeah. I'm hoping this leads to more and better bird hunting for 3 reasons. 1. More meat in the freezer, and a greater variety thereof. 2. Time spent with family. Duckski has a couple cousins that are avid bird hunters, and it's a type of hunting that kids can pick up fairly easily. The cousins can all go out together, and eventually start taking their sons too. 3. An excuse to get a bird dog or two. I'd go for offbeat hipster breeds rather than the typical Lab, setter, or pointer, but that's neither here nor there.
